I started ordering cold coffee at a cafe because the cafe's never made my coffee hot enough until I discovered lattes. That steaming hot milk makes the temperature just right. It's all preference.
Everyone keeps saying this. You guys realize it’s optional to get your drink sweetened, right? Whenever I order a cold brew or iced espresso drink, I never get any syrup or sugar in it
@ I’ve been going to Starbucks for years. They’re not making money selling a cup of black coffee. They making money off the sugary drinks with caffeine. The cashier at the drive thru offered me a free large chocolate syrup on top because the car in front of me tried to use food stamps.
@ I been to Dutch Bros and they have a counter loaded with different flavors of syrup. Sugar and caffeine because a cup of hot coffee is for old people. I drink coffee for health benefits so no more than 1 teaspoon of sugar. And yes I’m old.
I love both hot and cold brews. As someone who can appreciate the depth of flavor from the coffee beans, sometimes a perfectly brewed cup of Sumatra or Costa Rica beans is what I need. Other times I need something I can drink fast, get my energy, and move on with my day. The sugar industry has a big part in why younger crowds like cold coffee beverages...you can load them up with sugar to mask any bitter taste which is what they grew up with in their normal foods.

Cold drinks are refreshing. I like taking a big gulp and experiencing the "aaahhh" affect. Plus I can drink it right away. I hate ordering scalding hot drink that I need to wait 10 minutes to take a sip.
Answer: "It doesn't burn."
I got introduced to iced coffee in Japan back in 1997 through the vending machine options and haven't looked back. Today, I buy the black (dark roast or espresso), unsweetened in the grocery store to save a little more on costs.
Its not iced coffee, its practically a coffee milkshake
Koreans drink iced coffee the most in the world. No matter how cold it is, we have cold coffee! 😊
They love it because it has more sugar in it than hot coffee.
What? Since when does cold automatically mean sweetened? I drink cold brew with a splash of cream and no sweetener
@pensivepenguin3000 - just because that's your drink of choice doesn't mean that's what the masses go for. Even in the video they make parallels between cold coffee and soft drinks
I make this every day!
I use instant coffee, ice, 1% milk and coffee creamer from ALDI.
YUM!
Is it still coffee or a milkshake with a little coffee ?
Is a hot latte a milkshake? The main drinks are essentially the same ingredients, just over ice.
At that point it’s just a hot milkshake
Slightly more difficult to make at home
Slightly faster to grab when out
Seemingly more variety
Can let it sit for awhile and come back to it without the taste degrading
Schande ! buy equipment and you can make 20 of those at home and you get no artificial flavouring
Fake Coffee 🤣😂😉
The dopamine hits!! Plus coffee is actually a pain reliever. Slightly numbs pain for a little while
If its just iced coffee in the summer, why not. The problem is Americans put in all kind of sugary sirups because they need to fuel their diabetes. But its not real coffee anymore at this point.
I started ordering cold coffee at a cafe because the cafe's never made my coffee hot enough until I discovered lattes. That steaming hot milk makes the temperature just right. It's all preference.
These coffee shops are just candy shops for adults. Half coffee half sugar.
That’s not coffee 😂😂😂
For some reason it makes me happy when I hear a Millenium or Gen Z complaining about the company and how broke they are, but subsequently, they are the #1 group of coffee buyers/consumers😊
