After watching him in Daredevil and then hearing his normal voice it's like: Whoa.
He is surprisingly unscary in this interview. It's almost a surprise that he doesn't end up murdering the interviewer for some small perceived slight. Guess that shows his talent, to go into this with a small part of your mind expecting him to really be a violent psychopath!
I have not seen it, but apparently his accent in the biopic of Pele is impeccable -he learnt to do a Portuguese Brazilian accent. That's dedication for you.
Yeah I really searched for his interview. Just because I wanted to know he is not a bad guy in real life . God I was scared lol.

MrPjw5 Episode 8 was brilliant in showing us more about Fisk, Daredevil is a brilliant series imo, its so dark yet it shows us the villains ARE human and tbh (SPOILERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS)

D'Onofrio and the writers of Daredevil deserve many awards for their portrayal of Wilson Fisk alone. He's a character that has practically been represented as a viscous monster among men in every comic book and other appearance. This series paints him as a much more complex character: a human being whose monstrosity wasn't born out of nowhere, but from great sadness. For once I feel for Fisk.
Daredevil is the best show on Netflix and it is the best Superhero tv show in my opinion . Vincent D'Onofrio was perfect for the role of Wilson Fisk and he played such an intimidating and awesome performance and he nailed it .

I just finished the series and Vincent D'Onofrio is AMAZING as Wilson Fisk, aka The Kingpin. He steals the show. I think he is easily the best villain in the MCU, better than Loki.
He's a perfect fit for the role. Looking forward to the series proper! :D

D'Onofrio is one of the great underated actors of my time, he is such a 3D actor and is the bomb and will only shine more and more.
He's a walking mountain of barely controlled rage. Great performance.
This guy is just off the charts good at acting. His first scene in Daredevil had me hooked just as I was about to give up on the show. With one line and the way he delivered it, he had me caring about him instantly, even though he's the villain. Empathy folks, that's how you hook viewers. "It makes me feel alone". Always loved D'onofrio,.

This guy is great! This role was so perfect for him, it would honestly be strange to see someone else as Fisk. I don't know how to explain it but this guy *IS* Wilson Fisk. It's like I can see the child Fisk as an adult and still tormented, its perfect dude!
Jon Bernthal is a great actor also...incredible range. Anyone who watched him in The Walking Dead knows that he plays the villain so well that you actually want him dead. Then you see his performance in Grudge Match ( shitty movie ) and you really like him. The casting director for this show really brought in some bona-fide A-list talent. I can't wait to see more
Anyone know when this man will show up in a Spiderman movie? I always saw Wilson Fisk as more of a Spidey villain than Daredevil's villain.
***** probably because he(Kingpin/Fisk) was originally a Spidey villain but ever since the Frank Miller era Daredevil Comics he has just became so more synonymous with Daredevil then Spiderman.
***** Honestly I and I think anyone who has read both the Spider-Man and Daredevil comics sees him as more of a Daredevil villain. Although the character originated in Spider-Man books, he was really kind of a wallflower, cliche almost Penguin-like villain in Spidey books. It wasn't until Frank Miller put Kingpin in Daredevil that we saw him as a serious, manipulative, tactical criminal mastermind who was to be taken seriously and had some depth to him.
On top of that, this portrayal of him just ain't happening in a Spider-Man movie. He's too dark, psychotic, and violent. Neither Marvel or Sony are going to have this guy living up to what he was in the show if he was in a Spidey film.
He was also Frank Castles main villan, aka the punisher.
Banana Rama they are gonna have to since (spoilers read further at your own risk) during the Civil War Saga, when Peter's identity is revealed, Fisk orders a hitman to take him out but the sniper accidentally shoots Aunt May, which led to Mephisto's deal in One More Day

Vincent's performance in Daredevil is beyond brilliant. Hands down, my favorite character in the show.
This guy was my pick for BvS as lex luthor, he totally has the build for it, and he kills that clean shaven bald headed look, never mind the fact he's menacing and intelligent in his portrayal of kingpin. Cheers to the lex luthor we could have had, sigh!!
The only part about jesse’s performance that is fantastic is his pain and how he delivers the best lines. Not the craziness but the hate and pain.

D'Onofrio absolutely knocked this out of the park. His portrayal of Kingpin is up there with Ledger's Joker and Hopkins' Lecter. Best part of the entire season is Kingpin.

Vincemt D'Onofrio is a pretty damn good actor. He was a bouncer, I think, when he was talked into acting by Kevin Klein and from what I understand, he didn't really have any ambition to act. When you see the kind of range he has as an actor, it's pretty amazing.
Johnny Depp wanted to be a musician and was broke and then Nicholas cage talked him into becoming an actor.
It's ironic to see Private Pyle to play an underground mob boss.

He is the definitive Kingpin. I mean throughout the comics and films, this Wilson Fisk is the definitive performance. This is Kevin Conroy's Batman.

Vincent D'Onofrio is one of my favorite actors. Maybe his intensity has gone unnoticed on the small screen, but I've always felt this actor brings a full effort to the smallest details of a character. Hell, he even made Robert E. Howard poetic. His Fisk is brilliant, and very very disconcerting. A true depiction of a narcissistic, psychopathic and violent character. Hard to say the performance of such a character is "enjoyable," but it is most certainly believable.
Crazy to see him be interviewed as himself and then you look at Wilson Fisk....completely different person! Now that’s what you call incredible acting!

yooooo this is the best kingpin ever...i absolutely salute duncan but wow this guy really is letting off the rich cold killer vibe along with the prestigious professionalism we all know kingpin to be. This guy has taken it to another level and I personally believe they could not have done better. Great casting choice this guy is really pulling his weight and if he is replaced or whatever it will really hurt the show so much. idk great job im am shockingly satisfied!!

In comparison with Michael Duncan and Vincent D'onorrio, Duncan was more loyal to the comic while Vincent took a either new route or made an origin by making him so.... Not Kingpin. But there are moments where we did see him spark as kingpin and it was insane. Looking forward of him continue being Kingpin. And I hope next season we get Bullseye and/or Electra

I love him and his performance but it would be cool if they asked him to power lift or something because he could be a little bigger in my opinion.
