He is surprisingly unscary in this interview. It's almost a surprise that he doesn't end up murdering the interviewer for some small perceived slight. Guess that shows his talent, to go into this with a small part of your mind expecting him to really be a violent psychopath!
I have not seen it, but apparently his accent in the biopic of Pele is impeccable -he learnt to do a Portuguese Brazilian accent. That's dedication for you.
MrPjw5 Episode 8 was brilliant in showing us more about Fisk, Daredevil is a brilliant series imo, its so dark yet it shows us the villains ARE human and tbh (SPOILERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS) I didn't actually want, Nobu, Wesley and Leland to die.
D'Onofrio and the writers of Daredevil deserve many awards for their portrayal of Wilson Fisk alone. He's a character that has practically been represented as a viscous monster among men in every comic book and other appearance. This series paints him as a much more complex character: a human being whose monstrosity wasn't born out of nowhere, but from great sadness. For once I feel for Fisk.
Daredevil is the best show on Netflix and it is the best Superhero tv show in my opinion . Vincent D'Onofrio was perfect for the role of Wilson Fisk and he played such an intimidating and awesome performance and he nailed it .
I just finished the series and Vincent D'Onofrio is AMAZING as Wilson Fisk, aka The Kingpin. He steals the show. I think he is easily the best villain in the MCU, better than Loki.
This guy is just off the charts good at acting. His first scene in Daredevil had me hooked just as I was about to give up on the show. With one line and the way he delivered it, he had me caring about him instantly, even though he's the villain. Empathy folks, that's how you hook viewers. "It makes me feel alone". Always loved D'onofrio,.
This guy is great! This role was so perfect for him, it would honestly be strange to see someone else as Fisk. I don't know how to explain it but this guy *IS* Wilson Fisk. It's like I can see the child Fisk as an adult and still tormented, its perfect dude!
Jon Bernthal is a great actor also...incredible range. Anyone who watched him in The Walking Dead knows that he plays the villain so well that you actually want him dead. Then you see his performance in Grudge Match ( shitty movie ) and you really like him. The casting director for this show really brought in some bona-fide A-list talent. I can't wait to see more
***** probably because he(Kingpin/Fisk) was originally a Spidey villain but ever since the Frank Miller era Daredevil Comics he has just became so more synonymous with Daredevil then Spiderman.
***** Honestly I and I think anyone who has read both the Spider-Man and Daredevil comics sees him as more of a Daredevil villain. Although the character originated in Spider-Man books, he was really kind of a wallflower, cliche almost Penguin-like villain in Spidey books. It wasn't until Frank Miller put Kingpin in Daredevil that we saw him as a serious, manipulative, tactical criminal mastermind who was to be taken seriously and had some depth to him. On top of that, this portrayal of him just ain't happening in a Spider-Man movie. He's too dark, psychotic, and violent. Neither Marvel or Sony are going to have this guy living up to what he was in the show if he was in a Spidey film.
Banana Rama they are gonna have to since (spoilers read further at your own risk) during the Civil War Saga, when Peter's identity is revealed, Fisk orders a hitman to take him out but the sniper accidentally shoots Aunt May, which led to Mephisto's deal in One More Day
This guy was my pick for BvS as lex luthor, he totally has the build for it, and he kills that clean shaven bald headed look, never mind the fact he's menacing and intelligent in his portrayal of kingpin. Cheers to the lex luthor we could have had, sigh!!
D'Onofrio absolutely knocked this out of the park. His portrayal of Kingpin is up there with Ledger's Joker and Hopkins' Lecter. Best part of the entire season is Kingpin.
This guy is such a good actor. When he started speaking it was so weird to me, because I was used to him being in "Fisk" tone...such a different voice lol
Vincemt D'Onofrio is a pretty damn good actor. He was a bouncer, I think, when he was talked into acting by Kevin Klein and from what I understand, he didn't really have any ambition to act. When you see the kind of range he has as an actor, it's pretty amazing.
He is the definitive Kingpin. I mean throughout the comics and films, this Wilson Fisk is the definitive performance. This is Kevin Conroy's Batman. Absolutely incredible casting and acting.
Vincent D'Onofrio is one of my favorite actors. Maybe his intensity has gone unnoticed on the small screen, but I've always felt this actor brings a full effort to the smallest details of a character. Hell, he even made Robert E. Howard poetic. His Fisk is brilliant, and very very disconcerting. A true depiction of a narcissistic, psychopathic and violent character. Hard to say the performance of such a character is "enjoyable," but it is most certainly believable.
Crazy to see him be interviewed as himself and then you look at Wilson Fisk....completely different person! Now that’s what you call incredible acting!
yooooo this is the best kingpin ever...i absolutely salute duncan but wow this guy really is letting off the rich cold killer vibe along with the prestigious professionalism we all know kingpin to be. This guy has taken it to another level and I personally believe they could not have done better. Great casting choice this guy is really pulling his weight and if he is replaced or whatever it will really hurt the show so much. idk great job im am shockingly satisfied!!
Dont think anyone could have played the wilson fisk role better than Vincent. Watched DD and wouldn't hesitate to watch it all over again. If anyone hasn't watched it i would highly recommend you watch it
I swear Vincent D'Onofrio Nailed it!! I didn't really get it until the very last episode of Season One! Was well written and extremely compelling or right on the notch for a comic book ending as far as I am concerned!
love this guy, he was a perfect kingpin , great acting, wish it wont change, wish his character dont die, he makes the daredevil worth watching over dareveil boring story, he made a perfect villain boss
In comparison with Michael Duncan and Vincent D'onorrio, Duncan was more loyal to the comic while Vincent took a either new route or made an origin by making him so.... Not Kingpin. But there are moments where we did see him spark as kingpin and it was insane. Looking forward of him continue being Kingpin. And I hope next season we get Bullseye and/or Electra
After watching him in Daredevil and then hearing his normal voice it's like: Whoa.
Yeah I really searched for his interview. Just because I wanted to know he is not a bad guy in real life . God I was scared lol.
same here, he is just so amazing.
Its interesting how you can still hear a bit of Fisk in his voice though.
"YOU HURT VANESSA!"
"You embarrassed me in front of her!"
Just watched eight out of thirteen episodes...
This guy is a beast. Anyone else who's seen the ending of episode five knows why I say this.
MrPjw5 Episode 8 was brilliant in showing us more about Fisk, Daredevil is a brilliant series imo, its so dark yet it shows us the villains ARE human and tbh (SPOILERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS)
I didn't actually want, Nobu, Wesley and Leland to die.
Same here, I'm down to 5 episodes left, and I think he was better at nailing the kingpin than mcd
***** Yeah! I finished like 5 days ago XD
MrPjw5 Totally agree. The series was so intense that at the end I was in confused to whom I should support.
I struggled sleeping after it 0.o

watch stranger things if you havent already its as good as if not better
+Random Snow Too bad ST is only 8 episodes
same as the punisher... awesome show and the best superhero show ever
Random Snow
Stranger Things doesn't even compare.
Breaking bad is good
they couldn't picked anyone better for the role.i love him as the kingpin
***** Agreed. I find his story more entertaining to watch than the daredevil himself.
The best interpretation of Kingpin in any comic, tv-series or film I've ever seen. Huge respect to VDO and brilliant, brilliant casting.
I just finished the series and Vincent D'Onofrio is AMAZING as Wilson Fisk, aka The Kingpin. He steals the show. I think he is easily the best villain in the MCU, better than Loki.
He's a perfect fit for the role. Looking forward to the series proper! :D
Nergalsama01 Awesome actor.
It was pretty lame. Only highlight was D’Onofrio.
D'Onofrio is one of the great underated actors of my time, he is such a 3D actor and is the bomb and will only shine more and more.
He's a walking mountain of barely controlled rage. Great performance.
This guy is just off the charts good at acting. His first scene in Daredevil had me hooked just as I was about to give up on the show. One ☝️ of the most important and underrated actors to ever grace the screen. Many thanks for your contribution to cinema and tv.
This guy is great! This role was so perfect for him, it would honestly be strange to see someone else as Fisk. I don't know how to explain it but this guy *IS* Wilson Fisk. It's like I can see the child Fisk as an adult and still tormented, its perfect dude!

Anyone know when this man will show up in a Spiderman movie? I always saw Wilson Fisk as more of a Spidey villain than Daredevil's villain.
***** probably because he(Kingpin/Fisk) was originally a Spidey villain but ever since the Frank Miller era Daredevil Comics he has just became so more synonymous with Daredevil then Spiderman.

He was also Frank Castles main villan, aka the punisher.
Banana Rama they are gonna have to since (spoilers read further at your own risk) during the Civil War Saga, when Peter's identity is revealed, Fisk orders a hitman to take him out but the sniper accidentally shoots Aunt May, which led to Mephisto's deal in One More Day
Vincent D'Onofrio is the perfect actor to play Scott Shelby in a Heavy Rain movie adaptation.
+Ernesto Nuguid so true.
It would be kinda redundant though, to make a movie and keep the story the same... because by now, who doesn’t know who the Origami Killer is?
True.
RDJ is meant for Iron Man, truly said.
But you, my man, made Wilson Fisk yours. Mad respect.
Vincent's performance in Daredevil is beyond brilliant. Hands down, my favorite character in the show.
This guy was my pick for BvS as lex luthor, he totally has the build for it, and he kills that clean shaven bald headed look, never mind the fact he's menacing and intelligent in his portrayal of kingpin. Cheers to the lex luthor we could have had, sigh!!
The only part about jesse’s performance that is fantastic is his pain and how he delivers the best lines. Not the craziness but the hate and pain.
762 millimeter full metal jacket
D'Onofrio absolutely knocked this out of the park. His portrayal of Kingpin is up there with Ledger's Joker and Hopkins' Lecter. Best part of the entire season is Kingpin.
His portrayal of Fisk was absolutely amazing!
The academy was pretty stupid not to nominate him for an Emmy.
This guy is such a good actor. When he started speaking it was so weird to me, because I was used to him being in "Fisk" tone...such a different voice lol
Vincent is the only reason why I'm watching this series. I really hope he shows up in the Marvel movie's. He is perfect as kingpin.
Vincemt D'Onofrio is a pretty damn good actor. He was a bouncer, I think, when he was talked into acting by Kevin Klein and from what I understand, he didn't really have any ambition to act. When you see the kind of range he has as an actor, it's pretty amazing.
Johnny Depp wanted to be a musician and was broke and then Nicholas cage talked him into becoming an actor.
It's ironic to see Private Pyle to play an underground mob boss.
his name sounds like royalty
He is the definitive Kingpin. I mean throughout the comics and films, this Wilson Fisk is the definitive performance. This is Kevin Conroy's Batman.
Absolutely incredible casting and acting.

Anyone else remember Vincent D'Onofrio as "Thor" (the mechanic) in Adventure in Baby Sitting??? Yep that was a very young blond Vincent!
shaggyusm26 I do. "Don't listen to him, he says you're a homo." "You spreading lies about me, kid?"
@Red_Beared_Dad: LOL, It was a wig though, I think he has only dyed his hair twice that I know of, for the movies The Winner and The Thirteenth Floor.
Really excited for this!
Who's here because of Season 3?
Me
This guy has been one of the best actors in Hollywood in for a long time but hasn’t gotten an Oscar. A damn shame!!
yooooo this is the best kingpin ever...i absolutely salute duncan but wow this guy really is letting off the rich cold killer vibe along with the prestigious professionalism we all know kingpin to be. Well said dude c:
He is the definitive kingpin.. Pure perfection.. Wow
I honestly never realized how much range this guy has... and a lotta skill.
He's such a perfect kingpin..... he deserves every award you can get!
Vincent is so calming in this.
His performance is like a great painting. You can't stop watching.
David Tennant and Vincent D'onofrio are the two best MCU villains. Change my mind.
Fantastic actor.
Dont think anyone could have played the wilson fisk role better than Vincent. Watched DD and wouldn't hesitate to watch it all over again. If anyone hasn't watched it i would highly recommend you watch it
I was not ready for that voice
I swear Vincent D'Onofrio Nailed it!! I didn't really get it until the very last episode of Season One! Was well written and extremely compelling or right on the notch for a comic book ending as far as I am concerned!
Absolutely
Vincent was great.. man.. what a performance!!!
This is such a great actor. The role of King Pin is awesome. D"Onofrio did it!
I just binge watched season 1. Vincent D was great as Kingpin
Hey Sergeant Hartman, who's the boss now?
He's a brilliant actor. He is a talented one. Respect to you Sir.
In an alternate universe where Private Pyle lived...
The physicality he brought to this role was astounding
Vincent D'Onofrio is one of my favorite character actors
D’Nofrio’s Fisk is one of the top Marvel villain performances
You did the same thing....amazing ♥️❗️
love this guy, he was a perfect kingpin , great acting, wish it wont change, wish his character dont die, he makes the daredevil worth watching over dareveil boring story, he made a perfect villain boss
'Daredevil' MUST have a season four. It's a MUST!
SUCH an amazing actor. A total different persona when he plays Wilson Fisk.
"that i am the ill intent, that sets upon the traveler...."
"...upon the interviewer who wasn't supposed to interview me"
Top 3 villains of the whole mcu easily. What an actor.
Such a strong actor, was really great in Daredevil.
Can't wait for this show few more days
the character of Fisk in the first seasons was fantastic
At first I wasn't sure about his version of Fisk. Now I'm totally into it!
truly scaring in daredevil as villian !
Daredevil casts its characters so well.
From Private Pyle to Kingpin. Vincent is awesome
Aw, his voice is so soft
he is one of the best in daredevil
we all know he is an awesome kingpin so i have a feeling someday he could win an award for it
he's like a completely different person when portraying wilson fisk so much talent
Such a badass...love his work on L&O: Criminal Intent.
Best villain ever! Amazing actor!
This man is brilliant.
Please do an interview with Kingpin in character for the whole thing
I never call him by his actual name, his name to me is Private Pyle.
For me he's Edgar the alien.
PRIVATE PYLE!
Is it too much too ask for a 20 episode season two? This show is truly given justice by what daredevil is all about!
he was fucking amazing great cast great show
Vincent stole the show! He is my definitive Kingpin (though I do love the comic version--especially the Ultimate version).
FISK is superb...bravo Vincent...
Saw the preview thumbnail to this video expecting to see him bald, what a surprise!
Vincent is Wilson Fisk,I love how Human Fisk was compared to how he was in the comics,Kingpin is my favorite MCU Villain
Great actor is D'Onofrio
i watched it all in one day
Su perfil es imponente!!!
The interviewer looks like an old Michael Cera 😛 lmao
Great acting actually.
So. Damn. Excited. He's gunna be a great Wilson Fisk
love ya vinnie!
In comparison with Michael Duncan and Vincent D'onorrio, Duncan was more loyal to the comic while Vincent took a either new route or made an origin by making him so.... Not Kingpin. I cannot believe that THIS GUY was PRIVATE PYLE!
Criminal intent.
You see his acting range - very personable
They shouldn't crossover with avengers this show is on a whole other level
(Full Metal Jacket Full Metal Jacket Full Metal Jacket. I had forgotten how strongly "The Cellar" is underrated.)
He like the only villain that make me scare. Good job
His interview is very interesting. I say this because Micky Rourke says something entirely different about marvel and the creative process.
I love him and his performance but it would be cool if they asked him to power lift or something because he could be a little bigger in my opinion.
If Joaquin Phoenix or Heath Ledger are Joker, Vincent D'onofrio is, the Kingpin! Bravo!
