Here we see cultural objections too. Very few people in the Middle East have dogs. There are many strays as I've seen. My dog is not allowed in our prayer room either. Saliva of a dog is extremely toxic. An Ayurveda Dr was eventually able to discover the reason for the ill health of some kids. The kids - toddlers - food was regularly contaminated by dog saliva.
Dogs don't threaten non-Muslims with jihad. Dogs don't demand jizya from dhimmis. Dogs don't massacre cartoonists. Tell me, why should I not love dogs? And why should I like Muslims?
I am a Sunni but I enjoy listening the lectures given by brother Sayed. Learning and educating ourselves are part of Sunnah.
