    Haley - I’ve purchased and sold quite a bit from Fashionphile; this is absolutely disturbing!! I completely agree with your assessment of this situation & the lack of transparency in changing the details of what your purchased without you even returning the product is a real wake up call for me. Thanks for updating us.

      I think the thing that bothered me the most was the changing the item description on their website and under my purchase history on their website. I don't know why but it felt so sketchy and that they did not respond to me before doing it was really bizarre. I like to (hope and pray) think that they were doing the right thing but we will never know 😂

    I've often seen pics on their site in the wrong page. For example, looking through pics of a certain Louis Vuitton bag and one random pic of a fendi under the capucines bag page

    That’s happened to me before where they listed a bag in the wrong size. I called them and told them and they changed it on the item immediately within seconds still on the phone with them. It’s not Shady they’re just correcting it if you ask me you got a really good deal if they gave you the price of a p.m. versus the price of the BB

    I am sorry you went through all of this, it shouldn’t be this way. Big picture I get that it’s not the end of the world. However, to be at the scale that they are, they should do better. What bothers me most is that they didn’t own up to their mistakes.

    A lot of these sites have changed to a 14 day return policy. This is a huge problem. I got a bag from them that was fantastic and in better condition than I thought. But I Iive in LA and the bag was coming from NY. It took 9 days before I received it. Luckily the bag worked out but now I am only looking at the bags out here just in case there needs to be a return. That really sucks.

    One tip I give people is to print or take screenshots of the item for exactly the situation that happened to you. Glad you ended up with a resolution even though your experience wasn’t completely satisfactory.

    I have had issues with Fashionphile. Things that weren’t my fault they blamed on me. Even after Escalating they stuck to their guns. Truthfully they do not have great customer service!! Enjoy your beautiful bag!! 👜

    I think I posted earlier, but I’ve had this happen with Fashionphile multiple times. You have the option to send the bag back. They are not going to adjust the price. I even had this happen where the bag they sent me was larger (Hermes Kelly 35) and worth less than the one shown on the website that I supposedly purchased (Kelly 32).

      I love a little dry humor and sarcasm- it does get me into a bit of trouble sometimes in professional/serious settings! Fashionphile is petty Betty and I would not have expected that.

    The fact that they had the audacity to change your purchase details are beyond me. That is why I keep every since email. I currently have a mini Capucines in my cart, but this makes me want to be done with them.

    I had a similar issue with Fashionphile. They had a Louis Vuitton Diane in excellent condition but it was missing a strap. They didn't specify which strap and the picture showed both straps on the bag. When I got the bag it was missing the shoulder strap. I was a little upset but figured it was a win since I got it for a good price and I can easily get a replacement strap for cheap. They didn't offer me anything other than to return the bag.

      You know... it is really shocking to me that they honestly could CARE LESS 😂 but it's ok, it was funny and provided me with laughs but they lost me as a customer!

    I’ve had a similar issue with fashionphile and they were honestly quite rude with the situation. So happy that your situation ended on a slightly happier note…kinda 😅💛💛

      Yep, same. And I have purchased about $250K with them, and they are never willing to fix their mistakes. I’ve had this happen multiple times.

    I was told years ago to always take pictures of the original posting and of their pictures on their site before you click the paid button. They are good for declining adjustments when they make mistakes. Sorry for your problems.

      I really love their selection, and the description of the condition of the items I received was spot on! I am not too upset about the situation, but it was an unnecessary waste of time, which is the number 1 reason I won't shop with them anymore.

    Hey girl! Thank you for the opportunity & sharing your experience. I've bought one item and it was a good experience but I did go in person since I live about 90 minutes from their location in Carlsbad. Sounds like the online process can be risky though. They really shouldn't compensated you without you having to go back & forth with them. Good job advocating for yourself! I totally agree that the conditions of the bag are so subjective!

    I have bought and sold many items from Fashionphile. Seems like with all the changes with their return window, fees to return etc the company isn’t run the same as it used to be. It’s a beautiful bag though so congratulations on that!❤

    Ugh. I purchased a Montaigne from Fashionphile and they automatically cancelled my order because my payment method (my bank debit card) was “suspicious” … without reaching out to me to confirm or request an alternative payment method. Then they re-listed my bag at a jacked up price and offered me to repurchase it. Contacting them to BUY is a lovely experience but trying to have a common sense conversation with a human in customer service… not so much. I wasted DAYS of several frustrating hours trying to call / email etc. Eventually, I did repurchase and Fashionphile price-adjusted to my original order price, but you definitely gotta do your own time and due diligence 😞
    You definitely deserved a discounted price adjustment!

    I wonder what they would have done if you had gone through PayPal for resolution? It would be a different situation though in that you would be returning the bag. I'm not sure but I *think* Paypal would have made them take it back even if the Jan 19 date had passed because because the bag was not as represented in the item description. I'm not sure who would have had to pay for the shipping though. If I wanted to be petty, I would have told them they will be dealing with Paypal fraud dept over the changed purchase history. Thank you for sharing this experience! I'm sorry you had to go through it. On the upside, that is a gorgeous bag!

      I was debating if I should use Paypal but then if Paypal sided with the company and closed the case I was afraid what would happen in that scenario. It usually takes about a month to resolve a case and FP's return policy is 15 days from shipping date.

      @@hayleysroom I totally get where you are coming from. That would worry me too. I'm just thinking that after that description change they did, I can't see how PayPal would rule against you. It's a moot point since you kept the bag but I think that policy of FP's to do that description switcheroo will bite them in the ass if they aren't careful. Great video!     Wow, the product page & order history change seems underhanded to me. I typically screenshot my confirmation pages too. That’s good you had an email copy. These resellers should value their customers & provide the best service. We’re the ones who keep them in business & reputation is everything especially when it comes to luxury goods. & hi! I’ve been a subbie for months now, would love & appreciate a gift card ☺️

    OMG Hayley, I had a similar situation with EBay authenticity. I purchased what was listed as a small designer bag and it turned up and was a micro size. EBay had approved it as the size of the listing. I had a horrendous time in trying to get a refund and had to just end up selling the bag even though I threatened legal action. Sounds like they were covering themselves in case you took matters further. I totally understand how frustrating this can be. ❤

    I recently bought a camera ; and they had a discount code if u purchased between a certain time , but everytime I would enter the code it said expired 🤷🏽‍♀️
    So I decided to call for a manual discount on the item , but before I did that ? I SCREENSHOT JUST in case they tried to do something sneaky and not honour my £100 off !

    I don’t think those gift cards are transferred. Yes, it is a code, but it comes up with your email address.

    Gaslighting. Wow. I’m halfway through this video and I’m surprised they changed the website. I can’t believe their return policy. 14 days isn’t long enough. 10% is reasonable.

      I bought something in November and returned it in January and was granted a return and refunded. I screenshot the date of return, print and send with my return so they could not refused. It must have been an oversight to give me a far return date lol

    They definitely should have price adjusted it for you! Also it was there mistake anyhow so they could have given you more options, and the sneakiness of them to change the listing is sooooo shady!
    Recently I’ve been looking at some vintage key holders, so if I were to win the gift card that’s what I would put it towards! Great video! I respect your decision too! 🥳💕

      I personally won't shop with them anymore because I have had too many bad experiences with them but I have many friends (and many people that watch my videos) that LOVE Fashionphile. Like I stated in the video, their selection is top tier and you can find some amazing finds!!

    Omg!!! I can’t believe they changed the listing. That is very shady sorry. That could look like you purchased a BB and not a PM. They should have waited to get the item back and then do the update. IMHO their affiliation with NM has not resulted in an improvement of their practices.🙄😱😳

      That is what I thought as well. It was an unnecessary step on their end in my opinion which should have been waited until I decided on if I was sending or keeping the bag.
