    What camera bag do you use?

      Saw your instagram post and since I was going to check out youtube anyway, I'm a big fan of Think Tank Photo. I'm currently using the Streetwalker V2.0 I was using the Airport Essentials, but like you my back was letting me know it was time to stop packing so much weight. I like the Essentials it has the built in cable but you can only lock the laptop or the camera section but not both, I got around that by getting an extra TSA lock, I don't travel by plane much, more by motorcycle, and I like that I can lock it to my bike, the Streetwalker is small enough so I can wear it all day, the streetwalker only holds a small tablet, so not having the laptop saves a bunch of weight, I have had to change my workflow around a bit, but I can do basic editing on my iPad (I got the affinity app for it) and do all the basic office stuff with it, I can also do it on my phone😆 Not to make this long I also use Canon DSLR's and I agree a second body is a necessity, I got an SL2 to handle that department and it makes a decent video camera too.
      II like their red whip ties for cables too, I do have a few of their accessories 😊.
      Of course I bought the Streetwalker and they come out with the Photocross 13 its about the size of the Streetwalker and it can hold a laptop and has room for jackets and such, I'm happy with what I got. I save the Essentials for trips when I need my laptop, or sometimes I carry it as my hand carry item.

      @@JoshuaJEnriquez Totally agree. They save my shoulders from so much pain. I don't get how people wear backpacks loaded with this much gear!

    Excellent video! I'm considering this bag and I appreciate seeing "real life" use of it.

    Very helpful video - thanks. I think I'd like a case that's slightly larger if it would still meet airline regulations for being a carry on.

    The smallest and lightest rolling bag by Think Tank is the Essentials Convertible Rolling Backpack. Samsung T7 hard drives are better then the T5s in 2023. Twice the transfer speed and thinner and almost same price.

    Hello Suzy, very nice and useful video. When i travel and i have to carry a lot of stuff, i just pick my manfrotto pro light reloader-55, i think is a little bit bulkier than yours, but fits everything perfect, check it out, is very convenient....
    Keep coming with this kind of “real world” videos is very nice to have this kind of information.

      Thank you for the nice comment. I am happy you enjoyed the video. I have looked at the Manfrotto Pro Light Reloader and was considering it. But I went with Think Tank just because I've used them for so long and I've never been disappointed. Many more real world videos are on the way!

    Do you shoot with your Sony A7 and Canon 5D at the same time what are your thoughts on filming with 2 different brands at the same time for a shoot?

    • @Gemini_Connect
      @Gemini_Connect  4 года назад +1

      Currently, I do shoot with both Canon and Sony, often at the same time. The reason is that I have different lenses for each camera and Sony's mirrorless tech features are a lot better than my Canon DSLR. It can take some getting used to because the interfaces are different, but I did my best to customize my Sony to have the buttons and features align as closely to Canon as possible for a seamless transition between the two. In short, practice a lot with both and it will get easier!

    That bag is clearly bigger than a “personnal item”. Do they even stop you at the airport?

    • @Gemini_Connect
      @Gemini_Connect  4 года назад

      I bring it as a carry-on, not a personal item, because you're right that it is definitely too big to be considered a personal item. But with that said, it depends on the airline. In many cases, my personal item is nearly as big as this bag, but airlines (Alaska, anyway) has never stopped me.
