    Info Slide: Political moralism is the idea that politics is an extension of moral philosophy, therefore political entities such as governments only derive power from their pursuit of said objective moral virtues. Political realism on the other hand states that political theory is distinct from moral philosophy, there is no objective moral imperative, and that political entities instead derive power solely from individuals giving up power to the state.
