I hope we'll get more options and customisation of AC3:SL times (ofc without overheating mess) in the future

This is honestly so cool that Bandai Namco sponsored this, hope Gundam is around the corner.
Imagine an Armored Core 6 style game, but set in Iron Blooded Orphans brutal and grim setting.
Form’s style would work so well with Gundam, and yeah, IBO in particular, but unfortunately, Bandai has historically shied away from making Gundam games that aren’t either either the newest thing, Universal Century or a crossover, so I can’t help but think that if From made a Gundam game (again) it would be UC, probably One Year War Era too, since Bandai can’t seem to let go off that.
@@lucasurquiza554 if FS had the opportunity to make another Gundam game, if when Bandai does allow it, I'd be ecstatic. IBO just feels right, considering the theme and setting. Especially weaponary being "conventional" for the MS(excluding beam weapons as a whole since we've only seen on MA like Hashmal). UC overall can work too imo, but I do agree being on a specific thing, like the OYW you mentioned
would work in UC and CE timelines too.

I like this, but it's undercut a little by having armored core games from the same era with intros that look nothing like this lol
the environments look good, but this falls into the trap i see way too often of people way overexaggerating the flaws of PS1 visuals. The models and texturing just look sloppy. PS1 games looked *good*. strong texture work was a really important part of that. The textures here are REALLY flat. A lot of PS1 textures had baked in lighting.
The models are also too jagged. They look like low LOD models, not something intended to be seen. This just looks messy, feels like there's been no serious attempt to imply detail or make it look good within its limits.
I don't mean to be all negative, but i just don't have much else to note, really.
Armored Core looked alot better than this on PS1.

Seeing cutscene-style scenes in this gameplay render style makes me notice something. Do any of the people who make these ps1 demakes ever make prerendered cutscenes like in the style of final fantasy or other 3d games of the time?

Hey I love your video and your work it looks awesome and I love the style but when you compare it to ac1s original in game cutscenes i feel like your doing it a bit of disservice. Although it is old I personally feel it has much more detail than what is seen here. There not as few polygons and everything is connected. I understand that this is joke plus I don’t know anything about art direction and it’s purpose but i feel like if you gonna do a video using old graphics you could you the source material because it does exist but that is just my personal thought and do truly like the video
That part confused me, why not just take reference from Armored Core and Master of The Arena?

If you actually wanted to be authentic, then this should have just be a pre-rendered cinematic. You had three AC games on the ps1. Why not use them as reference.
