Thank you for watching our video. Apologies for the delayed response. I did some research on what controls the water flow into the washing machine basin and that valve was the main culprit. The piece was inexpensive and decided to try it first. Luckily, it solved the problem. We then created the video to show how to easily replace the valve if anyone encounters the same problem. How much was the part I have the same exact washer and what was the part called
It is called fill valve. If you google the model number of your machine added to water valve. It will give you the part number.

This is not like the back of my Kenmore 600 top load machine, does not do me any good at all.
