Thank you very much my friend, I have been living with my Fiancee overseas now for 2 years. It's only the waiting game for us lol So you didn't have your interview yet? Sorry I didn't catch that buddy
Already had K1 interview, got it approved and now we are in the US. Already applied for AOS months ago. Some cases dont require interview for the AOS. Waiting game for us too.
That is so awesome man! Please keep us posted on your AoS Status! Congratulations! I hope you're loving it! You should do a video on your interview process, I'll be first to watch it! So awesome to hear you were approved, just gave me some more hope lol Best wishes from Poland!
Thanks for sharing this video! It helped me right before my medical. Since we've gotten approved last December I recently began to talk about the K1 Visa on my Channel as well. ❤ I think these kinds of videos are really helpful and I love the exchange with other LDR couples who are going through the process. You're very welcome to stop by on my Channel!
I have raised blood pressure due to having PCOS (poly cystic ovary syndrome) which also spikes when I have my BP tested due to anxiety. My worry is that due to the PCOS and severe anxiety it just won't lower and my doctor doesn't seem to want to prescribe BP meds. I'm in the Uk
Hi there! Can you tell me which clinic you went to? My fiance lives super close to Mexico City. Also, I was a little bit confused, can he get all the vaccinations a the time of the medical appointment? Thanks!
Some vaccinations require more than one shot. How does that work with the medical exam? Are you required to wait until you’ve received all of the shots in full before you can travel to the states?
They said you have positive TB but I never felt any thing in my life I was healthy I don't know how they said that but can I be denied visa for this reason
thanks for the detailed video, I was wondering, when saw the list of the vaccinations online, there are like 10 of them and if they say you need all of them, which means do I have to get all 10 of them , is it even safe to get so many vaccinations in such a small time. Also I wanted to know, how many vaccinations did you get and did you get them in a single day. Thanks in advance , really appreciate you doing these videos
Hi Valor, Yes, there are around 10 that you need but depending on your age, they won't put all of them. Also, I had vaccinations from when I was a kid so I did not get 10. I got 3 that day and that was all I needed. Glad the videos help. Good luck!
Hello, I have a few questions, were you able to have the medical examination in Mexico City? and, where did you get your vaccines?, I have my childhood vaccine record, does that help? And finally, you said that if you are missing most of the vaccines you can get them during the medical exam, can they give you alll of them at once, or how would it work? thank you! I hope you can help me. We just got our I-129f form approved !
I am having difficulty finding the authorized Dr's in Tijuana Mexico, my fiance interview would be in Ciudad Juarez. Do you know if is mandatory to have the medical exam in Juarez instead of Tijuana?
Do you know what mental conditions could effect the process? My boyfriend used to self harm when he was younger, and he's worried that they will see his scars and stop him from getting the visa because of his history with depression.
Please what are the documents do I need to take with me for the interview....I mean the documents they require from the beneficiary on the interview day?
My fiance does not have her immunization record. The clinic is telling her it will take 3 months to receive all of the shots. Is this true?I saw online that she only needed one dose of each vaccine to satisfy immigration.
Hi, Daniel! Great video. As you were having multiple visits to USA, did you get police clearance certificate from USA for AOS as well ? I visited twice, every visit less than 6 months but combined time is more than 6 mnths. Do I need police clearance certificate from USA too?
Best is to wait for your exact interview date, then you can schedule your medical 2-3 weeks prior your Interview! This way you avoid your medical exam expiring before you even had your interview. And it will be longer valid, since you need one for your AOS after marrying in the US too. This way you save money and can use your Medical Exam from the K1 for the AOS as well (if timing fits of course).
Hi big erima. It might be possible yes. There are many certified hospitals and clinics that are allowed to do medical exams to K1 visa applicants. What I would do is call the hospital in Dominican Republc and ask them if they are certified by the US Embassy to perform medical exams for American visa applicants.
Hi! I will have to travel to a different country for my interview due the situation of my country, do you think it’ll be a problem if i bring my test from my country to the other embassy?
Hi Wanderlustoked, You have to get all the required vaccinations that the US government asks for. In the medical clinic they will specify which ones you need. The medical exam can only be done in clinics or hospitals certified by the US government.
Hi there. I have a question about vaccinations. The Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) specifies the following vaccinations: Mumps, measles, rubella; Polio; Tetanus and diphtheria toxoids; Pertussis; Haemophilius influenza type B; and Hepatitis B. CDC requires the following additional vaccines for immigration purposes: Varicella; Influenza; Pneumococcal pneumonia; Rotavirus; Hepatitis A; and Meningococcal. The question is: did you get (or had before) all vaccines listed above before applied for adjustment of status? or If not, what the reason do not get them? I understand there some age requirements, but most of the vaccines are not required in my country based on the absence of the diseases.
Hi, You need all the vaccinations when applying for the adjustment of status. Even if they are not required in your country, you will have to get them in the US. I hope that helps. Good luck.
Very informative! Did you receive the sealed envelope immediately after the exam? Can you schedule the medical exam a few days before the interview to save some travel time and money? My fiancé is in Brazil and has to travel across country to Rio for the interview. Be helpful to save the $400-$500 on a flight. Really wish I found you before i started the process. Thanks!
Hi Daniel, You don't receive it immediately after the exam, they give it to you a couple hours later (3 hours for me). This is because they have to put all the results together including the x-ray they take so that takes some time. Also depends on how busy the clinic is but you can call and ask them to make sure. Yes, you can schedule it a few days before, even weeks before if you want. The medical exam is valid for 1 year so people suggest to do it close to the interview so you don't have to do another one when adjusting your status (green card). Also for the medical clinics, there are many of them so there might be one near where your fiance lives. What I did was to look online to see what clinics were certified to do the medical exams for the visas and then picked the most convenient.
Hi. I just had a belly button piercing recently last December. how do you think will that affect my medical exam or will it affect it at all? it was just done on a regular tattoo shop by a tattoo artist when i was in Malaysia. it is still healing until now not fully healed yet. id appreciate your input. thanks in advance.
So ub mean to say when u pay for this exam /interview if u don’t have had the shots u will have to get them at additional cost? If so what is the price ?
Hi Randy, Yes, the medical exam has a set price but if you get the vaccinations (shots) then the price rises. If you don't need the shots then it is cheaper. Good luck!
Hi Lhen. Every hospital or clinic have different times but most of them give you the results the same day after a couple of hours. What I would do is called St Lukes to ask them. Good luck with your case!
Hi Jennifer! Its ok if you dont have any of the vaccinations. However, when you have your medical exam you should get all of them. If you don't, the officer in the United States at the airport might deny your entry. Be safe and get all of them during your medical.
You can go to your own local doctor to get the required vaccines. Some you can’t have close together so go asap. Otherwise the panel physician can give you them, Or you can defer and get them in the US. You are required to have them when you file to adjust your status NOT to get the k1 visa. Again there will be a charge in the US. - hope this helps.
It took me a couple hours. Medical exam took around 3.5 hours and then you just have to wait for the results. I would say total of medical and waiting time is around 8-10 hours.
K1 Fiance Visa Channel seems like there’s is more and more things she has to do if she passes then she has to take a seminar for 3 hours then an interview with the us counselet thees probley more as we find out as for her green card I will let her do this herself as they already said this will take six more months by then she will be with me .thanks for ur time
I'm turning 27 in couple of weeks so I will have to take all of the vaccination? Because i don't have documented proof of any vaccine I took in past And also when they will give me all vaccine required for me then is there gonna be side effect of too vaccine in one day?
We were wondering about this process lol Thanks for the video man, very helpful.
Glad you liked the video. Keep in mind that the process is taking around 8-12 months from start to finish. Good luck!
Thank you very much my friend, I have been living with my Fiancee overseas now for 2 years. It's only the waiting game for us lol So you didn't have your interview yet? Sorry I didn't catch that buddy

After the examining is done will the embassy receive the results ? Or will the applicant need to bring in themself day of interview
Hola!! Chico!! El examen médico se paga allí mismo..

Chelsea Jhj I hope you are feeling well
What if someone doesnt have vaccination records? Will they do it in medical exam or do i have to get it done before going for medical exam?

My fiancé has anxiety due to the workload of her job as a nurse. Will this hurt her? Did they do a psych eval on you? What to expect on that?
Do you know what mental conditions could effect the process? My boyfriend used to self harm when he was younger, and he's worried that they will see his scars and stop him from getting the visa because of his history with depression.
Does the us citizen aka the petitioner need to go for a medical Exam
Please what are the documents do I need to take with me for the interview....I mean the documents they require from the beneficiary on the interview day?
How can i contact with you...?
My fiance does not have her immunization record. The clinic is telling her it will take 3 months to receive all of the shots. Is this true?I saw online that she only needed one dose of each vaccine to satisfy immigration.

I got visa approved today but my medical expiring in 2 days. Can i travel to usa after medical report expired?
Daniel, before starting your process, had you been to the US as a visitor before?
Yes, Cris. Multiple times as a tourist.

Hi good day. Can I do separate medical examination? Before I go to medical examination for k1 visa?
No, it will not count. They have to do their own independence medical exam.
Who do you pay the medical fee too?
Hi. I just had a belly button piercing recently last December. how do you think will that affect my medical exam or will it affect it at all? it was just done on a regular tattoo shop by a tattoo artist when i was in Malaysia. it is still healing until now not fully healed yet. id appreciate your input. thanks in advance.
Hi Rouselle! It wont affect it. Just be honest with the doctor and you will be good. Wish you the best!
