    Serie: Narcos: Mexico
[Letra español - Corrido a Felix Gallardo]
Le han asestado un gran golpe
    A los grandes traficantes
    Caro Quintero está preso
    Un famoso traficante
    También Ernesto Fonseca
De otros más voy a contarles
    El Azul Esparragoza
    Dirigente de Quintero
    También cayó un colombiano
    Ramón Mata Ballesteros
    Estos cuatro ya están presos
    Custodiados del gobierno
    Había quedado un pez gordo
    Que no agarraba el anzuelo
    Este era un capo mayor
    Buscado en el mundo entero
    Con disfraces y sobornos
    Se burlaba del gobierno
    Miguel Ángel Felix Gallardo
    Se nombra este traficante
Rey de la coca y morfina
    Amapola y mariguana
    El pasado ocho de abril
    Fue preso en Guadalajara
    Gallardo alias el huarache
Se dice que era el supremo
    Jefe de los traficantes
    De la nación mexicana
    Mandaba drogas hasta Europa
    Y a la Unión Americana
    Centros Nocturnos y hoteles
    Ranchos y pistas privadas

This is a real Mexican corrido (something like a ballad in the US) performed by a Mexican group called "Los Jilgueros del Pico Real". The corrido is dedicated to a former Mexican police officer from the State of Sinaloa Mexico who eventually left the police force and became a large scale drug trader who in the 1980's achieved so much power that he controlled drug trafficking throughout Mexico. The real name of this man is Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo and this corrido is dedicated to him. The images in this video are taken from the Netflix series Narcos Mexico.

    • @TheWiseGuy361
      @TheWiseGuy361 Год назад +1

The nickname of Félix Gallardo in the world of drug trafficking in Mexico was the boss of bosses. Felix created a kind of Confederation of Mexican drug traffickers that included almost all of the major drug cartels in Mexico at the time (the only major drug cartel in Mexico that was never part of Felix Gallardo's Confederation was the Cartel of the Gulf). While Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo was free and in command of his Federation of Mexican drug traffickers, a kind of narco-peace was created in Mexico because there was drug trafficking but there were almost no armed confrontations between drug traffickers from different cartels, there were almost no deaths or chaos because Félix Gallardo assigned each Mexican drug cartel in his Federation what would be its territory and its route to transport the drug. The Mexican drug cartels used to respect the territories and routes of the other cartels and if they didn't then Félix Gallardo intervened to enforce the agreements of the Mexican drug federation. Félix Gallardo was captured by the Mexican government on April 8, 1989 due to strong pressure from the US DEA because Félix Gallardo was accused of allegedly participating in the controversial kidnapping and murder of the Mexican-American DEA agent. called Enrique "Kiki" Camarena Salazar. The death of the aforementioned DEA agent Enrique Camarena Salazar continues to generate controversy until 2023 because each time various pieces of evidence have been coming to light that indicate that the US CIA itself was actually behind the kidnapping and murder of Enrique Camarena, since Enrique Camarena discovered that there was a secret pact between the CIA and the Mexican drug traffickers led by Felix Gallardo to allow drugs to enter the United States in exchange for the CIA receiving part of the money from the Mexican drug traffickers, money with which the CIA trained and armed the paramilitary group known as "Los Contras de Nicaragua" in a ranch in the State of Veracruz, Mexico, a group that would later be sent to try to overthrow the communist government of Nicaragua. The CIA was afraid that Enrique Camarena would make this secret pact between Mexican drug traffickers and the CIA public in the USA and it would cause a severe scandal for the CIA inside the USA. It is said that he was the CIA agent named Félix Ismael Rodriguez Mendigutia (famous for participating in the failed "Bay of Pigs" invasion against Fidel Castro's communist Cuba in 1961, for hunting down and killing the Argentine communist guerrilla Ernesto "Che" Guevara in Bolivia and for his ties to US President George Bush Sr. during the Iran-Contra scandal, among other events) who was present during the torture and interrogation of Enrique Camarena, who made the final decision to kill Enrique Camarena and that Félix Gallardo was strongly opposed to killing Enrique Camarena because Félix knew well that killing a DEA agent would be counterproductive to the interests of Mexican drug traffickers. In the end, the order given by the CIA was final and Enrique Camarena was killed, but the CIA ignored the matter and blamed the murder of Enrique Camarena exclusively on the Mexican drug traffickers led by Félix Gallardo. When Félix Gallardo was locked up in a high security prison by the Mexican government then Félix lost control of his Federation of drug traffickers and soon after the Federation of Mexican drug traffickers created by Félix Gallardo disintegrated and then the different Mexican drug cartels started to fight each other for the different territories and the different drug transport routes from Mexico to the USA, turning Mexico over the years and over time into what Mexico is today in 2023: a battlefield between drug traffickers against other drug traffickers and among drug traffickers against Mexican government law enforcement, in a country with hundreds of thousands of deaths every year, many of whom are innocent civilians who have nothing to do with the drug business and whose only fault was caught in the crossfire in a country mired in the chaos of a failed war on drugs that has been imposed on Mexico by the USA. Currently, in July 2023, Félix Gallardo is still in prison in Mexico, he has been loyal to his former partners and allies since he has refused to declare in court for decades everything he knows about drug trafficking in Mexico, he is already of advanced age, he is very ill health and most likely to die in prison but people in Mexico remember Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo as the Mexican drug trafficker leader who in the 1980's managed to control drug trafficking in Mexico and managed to keep Mexico at peace. For this reason there are corridos in Mexico that remember Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo as "The boss of bosses".

      A colombian also got caught,
      Called Ramón Mata Ballesteros,
      These four are now imprisoned,
      Under custody of the government.
There was still left a big fish
      Who didn't take bait
He was a major mafia boss
      Wanted all over the world
      With disguises and bribes
      He mocked the goverment.
      Miguel Ángel Felix Gallardo
      This trafficker is named
      King of Cocaine and Morphine
      Opium and Marijuana
      The Last April 8
      He was imprisoned in Guadalajara,
Felix Gallardo, also known as "Huarache"
It's said that he was the supreme
Boss of bosses of the traffickers
      Of the Mexican nation,
He sent drug as far as Europe
      And to American Union.
      Night clubs and hotels
      Ranches and private runways
      Property of Miguel Ángel
      Where the money was laundered
      Also the suite in Montreal
      They were now confiscated
      Gallardo was within the Mafia
      No doubt the supreme boss
      Measure on the scale
In money like no one else
      He had bought the leaders
      Highest inside the goverment.
      State of Sinaloa, Mexico,
      Goodbye beautiful border,
      Hideout of many traffickers,
      Who are imprisoned for weed,
      May God not abandone them,
And have mercy on the criminal sentences.

Greetings from somewhere in Mexico.

So this is a real Mexican corrido (something like a ballad in the US) performed by a Mexican group called "Los Jilgueros del Pico Real".
