Let me know what you guys think of the new pedalboard! If you're interested in any of the gear I use, it's all linked in the description! Thanks for watching 😊
Haven’t seen the full video yet, but I just wanted to say that so far out of all of the RUclips guitarists I have seen (and trust me I have seen many) you are so far the best. The best from both the entertainment side of things as well as the educational side of things. You truly helped me understand music theory, the fretboard and scales a lot better so keep rocking and thanks for all.
Just so you know, in the literature of the CS12 they state that each output can deliver more than what they have labeled on device (it just a regulation for them to have something on there). For example, I have my HX Stomp (which requires 1000mA) plugged into a single 300mA output and it operates as it should. The Truetone power supplies will automatically deliver whatever power a pedal requires to each outlet as long as the sum of all outlets isn’t exceeded. I believe the Truetone and the Cioks power supplies are the only ones that can do this.
Correct! That's how I've been using it for the last year to power all 4 of my UA pedals at once. It's a great power supply, and I'd still recommend it for many people if weight and size aren't an issue.
Fun fact about the CS12 Even if an output is labeled 100mAh, it can provide power to a pedal that requires higher current so long as the total output given to all the pedals does not exceed the total output of the PSU.
I love how clean it looks and it sounds great. I have a Dream 65 with the Keeley Halo and the Strymon Cloudburst among other pedals. I play at church and I have it set to mildly ambient sounds. I do like that first fuzz pedal you have on yours and may get a fuzz to add to my chain..I also have the CIOKS DC7 and Andy Timmons AT Super Mod overdrive that recently came out. I run my Keeley Compressor Plus into it and then the Dream followed by the Halo and then the Cloudburst last. I also leave my compressor on most all the time. God bless you and all you love.
what do you think is better about the Rail Pedalboard versus the normal mono pedalboards? They seem basically the same, except for the rear has more open space.
Have you checked whether having the power brick mounted next to the drive pedal underneath introduces any additional noise? I was thinking of doing something similar but was worried about noise from the external power brick.
Hi Andrew. Have specific question about Browne Protein. Do you know if V3 is differs from V2 as for the sound? I’ve heard that V2 sounds better. What do you think?😊 Thanks.
@@andrewclarkeguitar Exactly! Trails is great. Just don’t use it for infinity trails because you won’t be able to stop these trails :))) Also Ive noticed one moment about buffer in Golden Reverb. Usually when the pedal is in the buffered mode and you unplug it, the sound disappears because it’s buffered pedal. But Golden keeps working even in buffered mode being unplugged. Weird. What do you think? Thanks
How good everything looks, two questions, do you leave the compressor and the archer on all the time? Which do you put the archer or the compressor first?
On the pedalboard I use cables from Evidence Audio. But the cables to and from the pedalboard are just the higher end cables from Yorkville. Honestly, I think construction quality is far more important than the actual materials used. I don't think Gold connectors or other fancy stuff makes a huge difference. Any difference it does make can just be compensated for with the tone knob on a pedal or the treble knob on your amp. At the end of the day, you just don't want them to fail on you at a gig. That's my opinion at least 😅
All of the HX stuff from Line 6 is amazing. I don't personally have a lot of experience with it, but I have many friends that do. I would maybe consider pairing it with a drive or compressor pedal as well, but that wouldn't be necessary. It can stand on its own for sure!

Man, your sound became really good! Love it. My sound
After watching your vid about the flint, and how much you loved it, im surprised by its ommission here.
Amazing sounds, well done!
Thanks a lot!

Hi quick question! What did you use to mount the pedals under the board? Just dual lock??
What a build!
Have you checked whether having the power brick mounted next to the drive pedal underneath introduces any additional noise? I was thinking of doing something similar but was worried about noise from the external power brick.
As long as it's a high quality power supply with isolated outputs there will be zero additional noise.
Ur the best guitar teacher I've seen on RUclips❤. Can u make a video on arpeggios and how to better use them in solos and licks?
Thanks! I don't incorporate a ton of arpeggios in my playing, but I'll try and come up with something helpful for you :)

Thanks one more time for the video.
Was wondering if you used Golden reverb in True ir Buffer mode?
Thanks.
You're welcome! I use it in Buffered mode.
@@andrewclarkeguitar
So it goes the last in your chain before the amp and works as a buffer which is good against the high end loss. Correct?
@@MK-tj5bf It does. But that's not the only reason. I also do it for the trails whenever I turn the reverb off (which is rare).

@@MK-tj5bf Interesting. I have no idea why that would be. Maybe it switches to true bypass when it's not powered?
Looks so clean! How did you mount the power supply?
Thanks! I just used industrial strength velcro. It's so light that it stays on there very securely.
How good everything looks, two questions, do you leave the compressor and the archer on all the time? Which do you put the archer or the compressor first?
Yup! Always on. Fuzz > Compressor > Archer > Rest of the pedals
Sick Tat !
Thanks ☺
What kind of patch cables do you use? And do you think it makes that big of a difference buying high quality ones?

Dude you should get a GIGRIG g3 Atom for switching.
But then I'd need a bigger board 😕
@@andrewclarkeguitar plus a Kernom ridge. You could remove the drives.
Hey Andrew, love your videos, been watch lots of them recently. What do you think of using something like the HX Effect as my entire pedalboard?
All of the HX stuff from Line 6 is amazing. I don't personally have a lot of experience with it, but I have many friends that do. I would maybe consider pairing it with a drive or compressor pedal as well, but that wouldn't be necessary. It can stand on its own for sure!
