ATEEZ are generally chaotic asf. Also, whenever a member said ‘this is what we call style’ and ‘the dance starts now’ they were actually speaking satoori or a specific Korean dialect of where they came from. Even though this MV just gives off anime vibes the entire time, The Real is actually a song about remaining kind and humble the more you mature and grow successful. Looking forward to more ATEEZ from y’all! They are such talented underdogs in such a saturated market.
“it’s clear that ateez have something that most 4th gen groups do not. a sense of humour” is something that was written about them in the earlier part of their career and i really believe this mv and song is the epitome of what they’re about. they mention in the song how they’re always humble and kind and they let their dancing speak for their talent. you can tell that they really enjoy performing, in every performance they give their all so be sure to check out their live performances too. i personally love their performance “From the Wonderland” which they performed on a competition show called Kingdom. But yeah thank you for the reaction!!
If you guys want to see the rappers have some serious fun I'd recommend this song's MAMA awards show live performance or their recent performance on a famous music competition show called Immortal Songs (King of Kings ep) where they did a mash up of The Real with Block B's Nillili Mambo and BigBang's Fantastic Baby (not sure if they're safe to react on YT without some precautions though).
ateez are actually under kq entertainment and have always been under it. some of the members back during predebut appeared in mixnine a survival show that was hosted BY yg entertainment which might be why you associate them with yg. just felt like mentioning that since it doesn't seem like anyone has commented about it !! /nm
One of my favourite songs by ATEEZ is 'Answer', you should check it out as well. Or if you want a more sad song, they recently dropped 'Turbulence', also a very great song. All in all ATEEZ has bangers lol
They made this song for the finale of kingdom. The same show where stray kids sang their ddu ddu ddu remix💜💜 this song is a dfinite bop and they have lots of song you will love. All their songs are hype ones💜💜💜
for this song Yeosang is who the members call "the peace card" because towards the ending of the song Yeosang wore a white suit and throughout the entire video Yeosang is the peace card all the members chose Yeosang to be the peace card
“ they have their own style” you’re so right they’re truly so unique and different from other groups Im so happy you guys like them. I suggest you react to inception, thanxx, answer and Deja vu 😊
They have so many good songs. Ateez has a no skip discography. But their performances on Kingdom:Legendary war were amazing, especially the Kingdom versions of Wonderland and Answer are worth watching. Also the performance of Love Poem from Kingdom Legendary war, performed by the main vocalist from Ateez (Jongho, I my opinion the most talented out of all the very talented male vocalists from generation 4 kpop), the main vocalist from Stray Kids (Seungmin), and the main vocalist from BtoB (Eun Kwang). That song was the show stopper for the entire season of Kingdom Legendary War.
I really want to introduce you to ATEEZ, they are full of amazing talent Exotic beats in K-pop, vocals, high notes, dance, rap and facial expression energy are all included at ATEEZ and they are from KQ Entertainment the cool thing for me is that they grow very tall on their own I don't really want to type that this agency is still a company that many people don't know yet, but KQ Entertainment for me is a very good company Everyone involved with ATEEZ is full of talent (dencers, producers) and since I've known k-pop, this is my favorite group
Ateez - Pirate King and Answer are two of my favourite songs and music videos, you should check them out. Pirate King was their debut song along with Treasure so you should check them out and see how amazing Ateez have been since they first started, love the reaction!
And the book that saved mingi from the punch is "korean morality book", kinda like "act mature and respectful and no one can beat you" according to the lyrics...
I'm so glad you guys reacted to them they are so underated sadly but i love them so much. You have to check out 'deja vu' it's the song that got me into them:)
Thank you so much for checking them out again 😊! ATEEZ are so good. I recommend Inception next and their immortal song performance of The Black Cat Nero which is a cover of a Turbo (old old Kpop star) song. They slayed it.
Love your reaction !! Hope you guys check out The black cat nero live performance or Kingdom performances by Ateez, they are ICONIC!! And Ateez also called as “Demons” when it comes to the members’ facial expressions on stage so better prepared yourself 🤣
You should watch more ateez content!! They all so talented and funny, I promised you guys 🤣🤣🤣. They concept was pirates and their storyline just so awesome!! I recommend you to check on their previous MV like HALA HALA, Fireworks, Eternal sunshine, turbulence and see that they can catch any concept and doing it well 🤩🤩🤩
from my own experience and from what i've heard from other people, this music video is actually based off of volcano high (an older korean martial arts movie that was eventually adapted with american rappers) and the song itself is about being humble and kind the more popular you get to set a good example and to prosper. it's a really good message and i love seeing the callbacks to volcano high in the video. thank you so much for reacting!
also the book he (mingi) used to block the punch during his verse was a code of honor. that's a piece of information that really helps understand the video itself.
after watching the MV i was really looking for a wholesome reaction and you guys pretty much did the justice. i mean this was exactly my reaction when i first watched the MV.
The song: 멋 is a Korean word without a direct English equivalent--real, style, and cool are attempts to catch the meaning, but it has an underlying idea of honor, so it's about how what's really cool/stylish is to be humble, respectful*, and kind. *Bowing is one way Koreans show respect which is why there was a lot of bowing and sayings like lower your head and bend down as you mature. Fun fact: Korean has multiple dialects with the Seoul dialect being the standard (it's what Korean language learners are taught). In the song when the music stops, the member speaks in his dialect (most Ateez members are from the countryside but have been trained to speak Seoul dialect in their content), kind of like if someone spoke with a southern drawl and the next person spoke with a Jersey accent. The video: Appears to be based on Volcano High, a popular Korean movie in 2001 about a transfer student with special powers who ends up at a school with warring factions who are trying to find a book of power. Ateez's twist--The book they find when they put their powers together is essentially a book of morality, a book about 멋. (If you want more details watch Form of Therapy's reaction). Thanks for the reaction!
My dudes! Ateez is dope as hell! They have ridiculously good music and are incredible versatile in sound. So many bops to choose from! Please react to more of them! I would highly recommend these MVs: Fireworks Say My Name Hala Hala Answer Thanxx Inception To the Beat Deja Vu Pirate King Aurora Treasure Turbulence Trust me, you won't regret exploring them. They are off the chain good!
Thanks for the react. Ateez are not from a big label company nor associated with one in any way. They're a small label group under KQ Entertainment. Now in the West, they are signed to RCA records as there was a bidding war with the major U.S. labels to sign them. A easy way to remember Ateez is it's like 80s. I think you guys would love their song Win. I like to watch Win on KBS because they show an overhead shot when Ateez line up then pan out . There is also Win video on KQ which was their live performance of it from their Seoul concert before their tour was cancelled when covid first hit. I also recommend Hala Hala full performance and Hala Hala 3D teaser. Also, Thanxx, Wonderland comeback stage, The Real, Rhythm Ta cover on Kingdom, Stay cover (rock version) Ateez Aurora mv, Inception, Fireworks and DejaVu.
Just wait until you start diving into their storyline…you’re gonna go 🤯🤯 You’re definitely onto something when you said “ripple in time” (Their story should be turned into an anime)
If y'all want to learn more about ATEEZ, one of the best videos to start off with is "a helpful guide to stanning ateez". It was originally uploaded by etini before the channel, along with the video, was deleted. But thankfully, someone re-uploaded it. It really goes into detail about not only the group itself, but every member as well. There some personal opinions sprinkled throughout, but it's still one of the best guides out there when it comes to learning about them!
FYI- YG Entertainment & KQ Entertainment are not connected in ANY way. KQ Entertainment is considered a small company in the K-Pop world. They are the brother company to Seven Seasons that has B Block. Also under KQ Entertainment are: Babylon, Maddox (who was also the voice in Ateez's intro to 1st album) & EDEN (not only the lead song writter/producer for Ateez but an amazing soloist himself)
i'm so glad you guys are reacting to ateez! please continue checking out more of their songs and once you feel like u really want to get to know them i recommend watching a guide to them (ETINI's actually helpful guide to ateez is a rlly good one)
Yes ATEEZ! Welcome to the dark side boys but also the light side... You'll see what I mean the more you react to them. All their songs give you a whole new feeling. I was so amazed by them and their powerful stage presence and striking vocals. Their storyline is complicated but so unique. They were known as the Pirates of Kpop at the beginning. That's what drew me in. Now, it's a little bit of a different storyline and I'm not sure how to explain it. So, I'll let someone else do the honors of that. But yeah ATEEZ members are comedians but at the same time can be so fierce! Their versatility is crazy. Also, could ya'll check out these songs too from this other group known as NCT? NCT U - Universe Lets Play Ball NCT 127 - Earthquake NCT U - Make A Wish NCT U - Boss NCT 127 - Kick It NCT 2020 - Resonance There's 23 members but they are divided into 4 subunits: NCT 127, NCT U , NCT Dream, WayV Sorry, I didn't mean to ramble. I seem to always do that on here. Oops. 😆
Shawn tekrar ve tekrar gülüşünü izlemek harika bunun için Ateez'e teşekkür etmem gerekiyor ayrıca rengim olan orange giymişsin çok yakışmış Ateez harika gerçekten siz ikilide öyle

Yeosang was not the boss, he was representing a pigeon which is a symbol of piece that's why he was eating a slice of bread 😅
Okay i just realized it that pigeon eat breads 😂😂😂
Peace*

they want the new student for their club and introducing themselves -this is what we call style: humble and kindness-
I see Mingi has caught your eye😂 I’m also a mingi bias!! Y’all should react to pirate king by them or deja vu!!

That was not a comic book. It was the textbook of morality
I love Ateez they are amazing such amazing energy and personalities
Their guide by Etini is soooo good pl react to it and kingdom perf.
the message from this song is be humble, but show off your skills, and that's what we call style.
at 4:24 the so called manga book is actually a book of morals. (Just wanted to point this out)
They have so many good songs. Ateez has a no skip discography.
