I'm surprised to see a glimmer of journalism peeping into Irish media. I wonder if the emigrating well-qualified, young population would be inclined to stay if they were offered free board and lodging, free medical care, free travel , a weekly allowance, high taxation threshold if they're prepared to work. free third-level education for future offspring , pensions to match those of politicians, free mobile phones, etc. etc. It would be a 'drop in the ocean' out of the Government 's money forest !
ODonnell fighting and working hasn't made much difference. He's part of the political failure in region over years. Failure pure and simple. Healthcare discrimination tolerated by local political representatives. He should be long gone ...amongst others.

The population of Ireland has increased to 5 million people over the last number of years yet the government has not supplied the beds nor the medical staff to provide good health care to meet that increased population. Band Aid measures for years does not solve a health service in crisis .
Immigration crisis, health care crisis, longer GP waiting times , housing crisis. Vote very carefully this time around !! So much of tax payers money is being wasted !!

my 84 year old mother was on a trolley in uchl for 6 days..
Its a disgrace, my grandmother is afraid to go there if she gets sick or if an ambulance had to take her to UHL. She is 92.
