!! Never ! Never disconnect the positive (+)Kable first from Battery!! This shocks the whole electronic system and may damage expensive control unit(-s). same at reinstall: Limit the shock to the area of the battery, because the battery functions as a damper/buffer for the electronics: NOTE: ! Plus (+Red+) Cable always connected for longer ! ! =This means for reinstallation: first connect the red/+/plus, then minus. But only note that PLUS always connected for LONGER. That will help for de-and reinstall. Rest of video is good and helpful! Thank you, best regards! + + plus+connected+longer + +
OMG this video did not even "exist" when I decided to do this on my V60. I did it by VIDA and yes . the small exhaust pipe at the back of.the cooler is a btch... 😢.. thank you for this excellent tutorial!! I have yet to to the intake ... I am a bit freaked out removing injectors..
Fantastic movie. Great job. This is waiting for me too, but I'm having trouble finding a workshop that will do it carefully and correctly. Greetings from Poland ❤❤❤
@aldobarr9820 Hi, just the valve could be cleaned by removing the charge pipe on the throttle body side. To fully clean it with the cooler, it will have to be dismounted. Rgds.
Finally a movie instruction how to do it properly on the D3 2.0 engines. Thank you so much!!!
A great instruction movie, learned a lot from it, and better leave it to professionals.Thanks.

Nope, I'm taking it to mechanic. But amazing video
Great job,
But it's not the same process on a Volvo D4 2.0 the EGR and cooler are completely different nowhere near the same
this shows procedure for 5 cylinder diesels (D3, D4, D5). I believe your D4 is newer 4 cylinder diesel engine

What did you use to clean intake from this black sh...t?
Never use silicone where you need to replace o-rings. The rubber o-rings should suffice.
what symtoms and or codes was happening ?
This is a fucking suck deluxe category! 😂
