I am loving your content lately!! So relatable and authentic. One of the few mom vloggers who I feel like shows the reality of motherhood and raising a young family.
    Thank you 🧡

I'm with you on the paper towels! Sometimes you just need to pay for convenience when you have little ones 😅

Totally true! But if it bothers you to "have to use them" you could try this: I take a dish/mini-trashcan and wipe all the dirt and physical stuff into it. Then I go wash my cloth and clean the now "cleaned" Highchair, table etc. Where I live we throw food in a specialtrash anyway, so thats very convinient for me :)

It is soooo refreshing hearing another mom of little children feel the same way about paper towels as I do 😅 I feel like a lot of people like to brag to an extent about how they don’t use them. Well, they are a necessity in our house! 🤪

Swedish towel hack for great messes:
Get a larger sized bowl or a small bucket, fill it with warm water and some detergent, take the bucket to the mess; clean up the mess by interim cleaning the towel in the bucket.
So after, you only have to go to the sink once to get rid of the bucket water.

Instead of using a lot of paper towels, you can prepare the floor with newspapers, and then clean just what really got dirty. That's what my grandparents used to do then and they now make us do when we go to them with my kid.

I’m all about good quality vitamins even though they’re more expensive. It’s worth it for my health and my future babies. Also I go to a coffee shop and get a latte once a week because that time out of the house seeing people (I’m a SAHM) is so crucial for my mental state. I’m very frugal with grocery spending by making literally everything from scratch, but I’m willing to spend more so that we can eat some high quality foods and enough meat and fruit as well.

I use a set of same colored small towels for tables and a set (diff color) for the floor. I use 1-2 pcs a day. I rinse them and hang on a chair at night to dry before putting in the hamper for laundry day. I use paper towels for hard to clean oily food stuff.
Yes to chiro! Really makes a big difference if you get a good one! My first chiro seemed to be just after my money, my current one is amazing!
Yes to all others except I haven't tried the lashes yet and I just access the free mental health hotline here in AB. I just want to say, thank you for the vids you made regarding the difficulty of motherhood, they help me to feel not so alone and crazy for feeling the same way.. 💖

My husband and I make $250,00 combined and are trying to renovate a farm. We are so broke and coming back from mat leave has mad it worse. I don’t know what’s going to happen to the next generations in this country but it’s scary

We did BLW and it was similar but "in this season we have 2-3 of the swedish dishcloths in use at all times". Now we have a running toddler, so we always have a spare one for the floor out (instead of hidden under the sink) and it's just the way it is.
But I mean, if paper towels are your biggest "wasteful" environmental impact, let them ! :D
Also, as a minimalist I used to basically DIY most Christmas decorations and only purchased fairy lights (and the tree every year), you can really do a lot by just bringing in pinecones and having them open, I also love weaving wreaths, so from advent our home always smells like pines (not everyone has such a beautiful backyard, I just imagine how delightful it must smell out there!)

This is a great list! My list isnt exactly the same but the concept is! I splurge for brows. No way do i want to be doing them at home 😅 Also on the fruit: we do a lot of frozen fruit and i find that helps, especially being in a rural area so we can still get mango and stuff like that.

I would love more ditl or witl vids with time stamps. I feel like I'm running out of things to do with my kids and I would like to know what others are doing.

lol, this womens quality of life is spectacular, normal people are choosing between paying power or rent these days, not just continuing to enjoy ALL of their discretional spending. I thought she was relatable for some reason, but I hate it when creators pretend to be poors for clicks.

Hi, yeah I did expect to get comments like this. I know I’m talking from a place of privilege where our bills are being paid. I was hoping it would come off more from the place of encouraging people to evaluate what their priorities are and how they should be spending their money intentionally. Wishing you all the best 💛
