Wales absolutely dominated the final game in Czechoslovakia yet somehow managed to lose 2-0. A Czech journalist said after the game that the only other time he seen them outplayed so much at home was when West Germany won 5-1 there a couple of years earlier.
The guy who was doing the commentary is still doing it on Sgorio (they also have a RUclips page). He is a judge in my local court and a really top guy.

In fact, such respectable players as Ian Rush and Marc Hughes never played at basic final tournaments for national teams.... Pity.
Born in the wrong era. If there had been 16 team Euros in those days Wales would have ceratinly qualified for Euro '84 and '92.
