I miss being able to go to WebbFest, being called the last of the full grown men by Webb himself, is an honor. Man I miss the shows, and my damn boonie hat lol.
Saw and fell in love with the first lineup of Webb's band with Donny Roberts on guitar and Cletus Wollensak on bass. This features their outstanding original drummer, Jimmy Lester, (who later played with Los Straightjacket's) and bassist George Bradfute who has played with Webb for a long time. Don't recognize the others.
@@webbwilderTVWow, so cool you replied. Yes, a special night. I Can't stop watching Human Cannonball lately. Alas, the bar was demolished later to make way for apartments though. Fond memories there.
what is the song that sounds like this one? talking about speed and putting the petal to the metal. Any one know what im talking about been looking for years!
Now and always, Webb is THE MAN.
Saw webb for the first time at st andrews hall in Detroit 30 years ago

Love this lineup of the Beatnecks. This the best, fattest-sounding live performance of "Cannonball" I've seen/heard.

Thanks so much! That is Tom Comet on bass and the other guitarist is Tiny Bowles.
@@webbwilder3021 Ugh. My face is bright red. Sorry for that egregious mistake. I should have known. I've seen you with Tom a few times.
Saw him at the Breedon Bar Birmingham England about 30 years ago. Great night
That was a special night, indeed! Thanks!

Sound stupid at the first listening ( one more of this kind? pff), then you listen twice, , and you find out that that stuff is powerful AND smart.
