I'm so stoked he's putting out more music. The first reaction video I did ever was for Tale of the Shadow, and I'm sooo glad someone in our community suggested it.
Solo Artist is what Sail North. And Fun Fact Selkie's are considered Water Fae i think ands it is not uncommon for them to fall in love with sailors but the romance almost never goes well.
BTW, Sail North's songs seem to be a part of a grand story, and here is my proposal for it(chronological as possible): Broken mast bay: Keelhaul Joe's backstory Compass: The main captain's backstory Against the Tide: When the lovers from Compass are sailing the seas together Bones: Captain's return to sailing to find something to fill the void in his heart from the end of Compass Phantom Sea: A warning to avoid the Phantom Sea after the captain went through it on his search for the Shadow Tale of the Shadow: The end(?) of the captain's story I think Unsinkable can be spread out over several spots, but I'm not sure
That is really freakin cool. I love when bands and artists tell a story with their art. It shows a passion for what they do, and that is one of my number one things that I enjoy and respect. thank you for sharing this. I def be listening a little harder next time I put them on.
Who do you think the older man who gets him off the burning ship is? I thought it was his father, or previous captain- but how would that tie into your timeline?
This song is one of my favorites from them. Wonderful reaction! I always tear up a bit at the last part of this song. Have you listened to Compass by Sail North? If you haven't i highly recommend it its tied with this song for my favorite from them
I agree. Such a great artist! I have listened to compass. I was super stoked when everyone here told me that broken mast bay was a new song, so I could do the reaction to it. I'm stoked to see more whenever he does more. :)
Very nice reaction to a sweet and beautiful sea song. He is a very talented artist and imo this is his best song he’s done so far from the songs he’s done so far. He has done “against the tide” as well which you can react to you if you’d like 😊
yeah, i really love him. I've already listened to all his stuff, which is why i was so stoked to see this new song come up. I love his stuff, and can't wait for more. :)
Listen to warren zeiders music either relapse, pretty little poison and can a heart and there is nate smith hurtless and can a heart break and then ryan jesse outrunning try those
@@NetherCloud More specifically, a selkie is a shapeshifter who can switch between seal and human by putting on or taking off her seal skin/coat. In folklore, men would often steal a selkie's coat so that she would be unable to return to the sea, and would be forced to marry him. These marriages are usually unhappy and if the selkie ever manages to find her coat, she usually disappears back to the sea, abandoning her husband and any children she may have had with him.
Thanks for the great reaction! This song has quickly become one of my favourites from Sail North. I can't wait to hear more from him

I agree I cried my first watch

And the main part of selkies that separate them from mermaids: they can turn into seals

Broken mast bay: Keelhaul Joe's backstory
Compass: The main captain's backstory
Against the Tide: When the lovers from Compass are sailing the seas together
Bones: Captain's return to sailing to find something to fill the void in his heart from the end of Compass
Phantom Sea: A warning to avoid the Phantom Sea after the captain went through it on his search for the Shadow
Tale of the Shadow: The end(?) of the captain's story
I think Unsinkable can be spread out over several spots, but I'm not sure
