Great work! I had a friend of mine make a router jig using a 3D printer to match what you did. I did make one out of a 4 inch cap like you did and it worked great. Thanks for the helpful video.
Ive been out of the bowling game for a while. I need to get back in. But with the economy the way it is now and inflation. I have other goals n mind first before I go back to bowling. but soon enouph. I miss bowling it was great stress relief
I'm happy you haven't seen this issue before, but something to keep an eye out for in the future is edge chipping or cracking due to keeping the beveled edge. At the shop I work at we cut out any bevel as the thinness of the plug at the bevel dramatically increases the chance of that happening. Also Wizard EZ part A is notorious for that buildup, we have some where it even hardened in that side tube where it travels up.
Ill make an updated video very soon this video is old and I can do better and have more info. In that video ill make sure give links and names. Ill have it out by the end of the weekend. or by monday
You bowl too? We might be long-lost brothers at this point lmao! My ball has a counterweight for easier backspin and lifting from the right edge of the lane. Great stuff keep up the quality content
@@WorkingClassKnowledge I'm the same way man, pulling extra hours at work. Got out of the military last year and honestly, Carpentry saved my life. I love this job and I wish I would have started a lot earlier in life but 25 isn't too late to learn a trade by any means.
Dude I started carpentry at 30. Your good. Dude get into hand panes. They will take your carpentry to the next level. If you need a blade sharpened just ship it to me. Hand planes are sick and addicting as hell once you figure out what they can do. But buy a good one. I use them for crown molding baseboard. door jambs not just furniture stuff. Being able to micro adjust something to blend errors and mistakes.
@@WorkingClassKnowledge I don't have a hand planer BUT we do have a Dewalt 13" Planer at the shop that is pretty nice for planing down 2x4s and 6's after having to make rip cuts

Good stuff man Thanks. What would we do without you tube?
Agreed. I would just sand up and down until the bevel is no longer there. Bevel creates a weak point. Want it to be a square shoulder without bevel.
what was it called of the stuff you put around the holes
Great job. Thank you for the tutorial.
No problem
A few years later but Awesome!!!! Going thumbless
What are using in the polishing/sanding part
Can you please list the name of tools that you used, and where they can be purchase. Thanks

Awesome video. Great seeing how easy it can be to plug a ball from home.
Thanks man.
@@WorkingClassKnowledge just curious, I’m a Motiv guy and was thinking of getting a Supra. Why don’t you like it?
I currently have a Shock and legacy.
Because I drilled it wrong. I should have used a stronger layout. Its a learning process. do you use a 14 pound ball?
Great Job!

Oh and Thank you for your service in the military. Much appreciated.
Can you drill in the holes you plugged?
yes but they can fall apart over time.
They look like planets.
Nicely done^~^
