    I listened to this twice while I slept, had to go back and watch parts again, I think I watched it all with the 3 times. So relaxing and inspiring. That is just incredible. I absolutely love this. You are amazing. Thank you so much for sharing. I love that you said about the magnet polarity that you don’t know the science behind it, that you could more easily explain how it works like magic than to try to be convincing about how it works with science. That is exactly how I feel about many things. My grown kids are neuroscientist, robotics teacher, kinesiologist, vegan chef and a Mommy. I can just relate to the Mommy child. Ok, I know how she does that. But as far as the other kids are concerned, I have no idea how they do what they do. That’s why I had them so that they could do things like that. I don’t need to know how to do things like that I just know that it all works. LOL. I like fake robots. I know that the robots don’t really work, but my son knows how to make a real robot so I don’t need to know the science behind it.

    I LOVE that your videos are long! I actually look for the long ones from years ago to watch at night when I can't sleep. I wish there was an algorithm for people who want to actually learn something instead of see people's perfection and the viewer then not have a clue how to make it themselves. It's frustrating when other channels are so concerned about the length of the video and not the content of it!! Bless you and your content and not the RUclips gods 😂

    Love the secret hiding place! I have an antique beautiful bright blue jar with a lid on my mantel and it has all the special little things in it I want to keep, jewelry that was passed down to me I want to keep safe, etc. No one has a clue! And it makes my heart happy to see such beauty in my favorite color and knowing what's in it too! Totally agree with you, I love knowing that I can look at it and get all the Great Feelings and it's something special just for Me! 💙

    It's magical and beautiful and amazing! It would cost a fortune to make but well worth it. I'd love to make my own but I might go easy on the succulents and make room for mushrooms because I'm obsessed with mushrooms, not eating them, just looking at them lol :) ...PS HELLO! :) I hope that you and Randy are well and have been safe through everything xoxo

    You are so talented! I think it'd be cool to hinge the back hidey door at the bottom, with hidden magnets at the top. You could even hide the hinges with paint or clay. Just a thought. I love to make things that have hidey spaces. **OK... now that life finally stopped interrupting my RUclips time (Rude!) & I was able to watch the whole video - OMG!!! I LOOOOVE this!!! I especially love the back!!! I need to make a tray and a wall art piece like that. It's absolutely stunning!!! Thanks so much for the instruction and the inspiration! Happy Creating!!!! P.S. Do you have the link for the 100 pack of fairy lights you said you got? I could sooo use them. TIA!!!!

    If you have a drawer that's a bit difficult to pull. Take a candle and rub it under the drawer and on the sides where it touches the main body. Will run smooth as heck after that. Even did that on my clothes drawers.

    I know this is past Yvonne I'm taking to. But here goes. Some of the furniture flippers use epoxy to fill holes. It's fast setting. I hate to wait to move on for hours or days. Lol minutes I may be able to handle.

    When working with resin .. there’s a trick to put painters tape around the outside edges.. then your res8n will just peel off so. U won’t have to work so hard to fix it .. hope it helps .. love your creativity 😊

    Love the Resin 😍 it really makes the drawers pop & the backs really cool. My only question is what's the difference between resin & varnish 😅

    • @amandajones6481
      @amandajones6481 2 года назад

      @ Iris I'm not Yvonne Williams but I do work with both resin and varnish. So that you can really see the difference between the two, I recommend that you watch some videos on how to use 2 - part epoxy resin to make jewelry. I use Ice Resin which is a 2 - part epoxy and, as Yvonne says in this video, you can pour resin in layers so that you get a thick layer of clear resin which, unlike varnish, creates the look of a pool of water. Jewelry makers also use resin in bezels or pendants in all sorts of different ways. For instance, you can color your resin with pigments, alcohol inks, acrylic paint and even spices, like paprika or turmeric powder. It's heaps of fun to make jewelry with. Search for Susan Lenart Kazmer and Jen Cushman, they're 2 very talented women who work with resin. Varnish is good for what it does, but resin is amazing, and you can also use UV resin which cures in sunlight or under an ultra violet light. Good luck and have fun.

    • @backtoearthcreations
      @backtoearthcreations  2 года назад +1

      Heya, Iris! Aside from what Amanda said (Thanks, Amanda!!) I use varnish to seal and finish wood or polyclay to give it a shine and protect the surface, but I use resin to add depth and dimension; on the drawers here the varnish would have made it shiny, but it wouldn't make the lensing effect, like having a drop of water or magnifying glass distort and enlarge. Resin has a much more dramatic effect on color shift or metallic pigments and paints than varnish. I hope this was helpful to you!
