NewsChannel 9 HD: February 2011

WSYR-TV is pleased to announce plans to become the first station in Central New York to deliver all local programming in High Definition.
The transition is scheduled to take place in February 2011. In addition to a new studio and state of the art equipment, NewsChannel 9 will have a fresh, clean look and new logo to maximize the crisp HD technology.
Viewers will be able to enjoy all local newscasts and Bridge Street, in addition to ABC's current HD line-up. The HD signal can be viewed over the air at 9.1, on Time Warner digital cable on 9.1 or 889, and on Verizon FiOS 509.
