They are all Japanese but their songs are in English ( almost entire lyrics but not all, they throw in Japanese and Korean sometimes). They speak Korean as their second language since they operate in Korea. English is their 3rd language but not all of them are fluent at the moment. They keep taking Korean and English lessons. 1 of the members ( Maya ) is very fluent in English. Others are catching up too.

As a Girl Group they perform their songs LIVE and they do the full DANCE PERFORMANCE at the SAME TIME because it’s not an Mv that is used during a Concert. They just finished their first World Tour Concert in Osaka, Japan. Many of the #Alphaz (fans) posted these for their fans to watch. They have TAPES (mixed tapes back in the day) that show each member Rapping Tape 2# is where they are rapping in three languages. They are trilingual. Thank you for reacting to #XG.
They also have a ton of documentary vids and a bunch of other content for the fans showing their journey. These girls move away from home and train for years for even a chance to get chosen to perform.
@13:55 Great start! You're right. It's a great gift to the fans and it shows how talented they are. It also gives credit to the cheorographers as well. There is also a sub-culture of dance teams who love to perform the routines publicly and this makes it easier to obtain the choreo for the songs. There are dance teams all around the world that post their performances online. Fans love it so it's become almost expected to post the dance practices.

Contrary to others who recommend their latest release (Woke Up), I highly recommend you (to the point of begging) DON'T LISTEN TO WOKE UP, NOT YET! It's better if you start with their popular songs, in order of the release date, so you can understand their journey, their growth, their alien lore, what influences them, their artistic choice, and a lot of stuffs. I would NOT shove Woke Up to people who just started discovering XG. I personally recommend you a fan's favorite, SHOOTING STAR (and Left Right which you've reacted to), because Shooting Star and Left Right is the beginning of their alien lore (which continued to Woke Up). Tippy Toes (their debut song) and Mascara (their 2nd song) are outside of the alien lore because in the beginning, they're still experimenting with concepts, but the energy is the same and they're catchy, too.

practice makes perfect and XG makes sure they nail it before performing live, and once they do , the concert tours begin because they not only perform this song but many others with choreo that they have perfected. These girls are professionals. The leader Jurin ( hoodie) was also a professional snowboarder before she auditioned, to try and make the XG squad.

They will do dance practices for concerts. Less CGI required, it is about their talents, of course. They are as many as BTS, 4-5 rappers but they all can sing. This was recommended to you just to introduce you to them. They have more hard core rap you’ll discover. I have never cared for KPop girls groups, but I’m obsessed with these XPop girls. XGALX is their label. They are anomalies just like BTS. They are extremely young ladies, beautiful, and I hear they can sing in Spanish as well.

thank god you guys do the dance practices too. some of them are extremely entertaining in their own right. a lot of times you can truly see the chemistry in some of these groups by their dance practices..and unfortunately, sometimes the lack of chemistry lol. XG, for example, has remarkably good chemistry (and are all disgustingly sick dancers). Outside of their insane vocalists and amazing rappers (definitely not showcased by this song, check out their newest comeback "Woke Up" to see that side of them), they are, as a collective, the best and most dynamic dancing crew in the kpop scene right now (my opinion). Of course, they're not exactly kpop, but that's who they're measured against since they specifically promote in South Korea and used the kpop system to train their team.
