  • Returning to our painting Dungeons & Dragons minis series with our first home-printed D&D miniature. Went with a bit of a different take on the classic orc skin tone and we're back in black.

Excellent work! I really loved how you tinted the base coat of the skin.

This video (and a cup of coffee) was just what I needed right now. You propably hear this all the time, but you have a really relaxing voice :) BTW, nice paintjob! I might use that for inspiration when I'm going to paint some Orcs soon.

What are you thinning your inks with, water or some sort of medium?

Really enjoy these tutorials, they have helped me a great deal this past year. Just wondering what paints you used for the blue cloth on the hood? I’m about to start painting a Half-Orc myself, and I like the way the blue looks alongside the green of his skin. Thanks

Sorry, don't remember. I paint so often it's hard to keep track, especially on one offs.

@@ThePaintingClinic thank you for the reply. I completely understand. I actually painted the Half-Orc up today, and using your paint scheme for the skin has left me really happy with the result. Thanks again

I really like the paint scheme on this half-orc. What 3d printer are you using?

    Doctor Faust
Why do you use the 32 mm round lipped bases for all the D&D figures when the typical D&D grid is 1" squares?

Looks better and it doesn't matter much in a grid-based game.

Nice print What kind of printer? I need to get into that and start doing my own printing.

What’s the chance of you zooming in a bit more for the turntable shots? There’s so much wasted space and the interesting thing is so tiny on the screen. Great painting though
