Hey buddy! Just getting settled back in at home after guiding all season. Good to see you back on the throne and glad your arm is back to normal. Starting to catch up on your vids again…missed your recent live streams, but will be tuning in for the next ones. Do you know the origin of this pattern (I presume it’s a modern dressing…purple is a colour I more associate with steelhead rather than Atlantics?). Great set on the wing btw! Cheers my friend, thanks again for the fantastic content!
Hi buddy nice you are back after all that guiding i hope it was a great season, my season fishing was terrible just a lot of white fish 😂😂 going to Norway next year better rivers. Arm is renovering slow but much bette now a pinscher nerve makes things harder i noticed. You will have a bunch to catch up on been tying a lot recently but that good. The pattern is another Swedish fly tiers freestyle salmon fly it was requested so i tied it. The wing ended up pretty good there almost backin the game tying now, have a lovely day and see you on Sathurdays live If you got the time 🤗🙏
@ Fishing was not great in general here in Newfoundland, plagued with low, warm water for the better part of the season (seems to becoming the ‘new norm’). Labrador was much better, in fact, exceptional at times, conditions, while better than on the island, were not ideal there either. Low, warm water…the bane of my existence! Lol
@ warm and low water makes things a bit challanging at least 🙈 ihaka the opposite problem huge amount of water, black rivers with bone breaking rocks all over the place. So dark water you don’t know If its 20cm deep or 5 meters 🙈 unknown waters all summer so i’m going back to what i know next year
Wow, Jonas! This will never touch water, it will hang high on the wall, hehe. Turned out really beautifull. Exelent craftmanship
Im happy you like it mate 🤗🙏 will get a frame for it on Friday and make it ready to ship over
That is awesome very well done👍 you got great skills
Thanks a lot 🙏 and thanks for watching
Very nice fly and the colours just pop👍
Thanks a lot buddy 🤗🙏
Super cool fly mate. One of my favourite bands and use to be my favourite colour.✌️🙏
Thats very nice mate a great band 🤘🏼🤘🏼
That should create some "smoke on the water" when and if its fished. Nice pattern bud.
Must tie one for myself and give it a try bud 🤗🙏

Never mind…’freestyle’…I commented before the end of the video! Lol
hello Jonas. why you cut the base of your kingfisher feather and didn't tear off ?
You have make same with the jungle coq ?
Hi Laurent, i do that on any feather i use, i do think they are easier to tie in that way and don’t turn
Thanks a lot Jonas to take your time to share your art 😊
@ im happy you like the videos 🙏🤗
