    The only thing I don't get is how to get Rare Crew mates?
    is it just levelling? or something else

    • @xdfg3869
      @xdfg3869 3 года назад

      If u mean how to get units of rare rarity. U would just pull how U would in any gacha game or just get them from stages. Some stages do u give units as drops. Leveling does not give u units but doing quests can give u units as well.

    Thank you so much, and i got a question. Before entering a raid, is there a way you can preview the bosses debuffs and skills?

    I've been playing this game since Louge town was the last Island. It's changed so much.
    And somehow I still feel like I stink at this game.
    Though I got a really good multi pull tonight. Got Snakeman and Kaido, sweet.

    Gave it a like and have a couple of questions, maybe only one, I don't remember. My biggest ''problem'' with OPTC is doing the new content. I am completly free2play, I have a lot of legends (1 year old account) but I don't know how to beat the new content, since the teams that people build and advise to be used to clear that new content (for example Kizuna and raids, coloseum, etc.) are usually consisted in premium units (newly debuted legends or units). As such I am really lost when it comes to that, and that takes like 70% of the game I would say. So is there a way to ''avoid'' that, and how can I know what units IN MY BOX I can use to clear new content?

    • @SanLegend
      @SanLegend 3 года назад +1

      Best way is to look up guides about whichever island you're aiming to clear. I personally use the french website for OPTC because it has just every island and guides for each one. It will need to be translated but surely your device can auto translate or if you're on iphone, hitting the double AA on the web browser so it translates.
      As for seeing which units help clear the content, you have a filter option that lets you see what specific specials you need. Recommend using it. Some debuffs that the bosses and other stages give can be ignored if you build your team right. For example some stages may give you Burn (damaging you for each Perfect you hit). SOME Burn is a very easy to avoid without bringing someone to remove it, like if hitting Greats also kill the boss (usually do this if the Burn is applied before the final boss or if any enemy has a revive mechanic) OR if you know you'll beat the stage without worrying about the Burn.
      Another very good example is Resilience (enemy will survive on 1 HP; won't die from Normal Attacks). You can easily get around that by bringing someone who does damage through their special, or poison them(if they aren't immune), or bring someone who does End of turn damage.
      Support effects also help save up space on your crew as some supports can get rid of certain debuffs.
      If you can avoid debuffs by not bringing a unit to remove them, do that as it saves up space for other units you definitely need. If not, then
      build the best you can with it.

    • @kidder123

      Yea, for a gacha game it is a pretty free to play friendly, however you are catching up on 5+ years of content and mechanics so it will be a grind and you've missed a lot of units, but honestly it isn't absolutely terrible to catch back up once you understand the game (apart from certain units from certain game modes (like TM or Kizuna) that are really really long grinds to catch up) . Especially good since the new treasure map is opening for a few days v soon. Plus the recently released super type strawhats can take new players pretty far, give it a shot. People like Asianguyoptc and Toadskii make great guides and the subreddit is very active.

      kidder T I’m looking forward to catching up lol. Is the game play turn based? I downloaded it but have put playing off

    • @aaronm8143
      @aaronm8143 3 года назад

      kidder T what are you paying for in it. Is it just skins and characters or do you have pay just to play it. It’s fine if I have to pT for things but if it’s constantly buying stuff then I’m good

    • @kidder123
      @kidder123 3 года назад +1

      @@aaronm8143 it's somewhat turnbased and but it's not at the same time, easiest way to tell is to just try the tutorial yourself, and you are paying for units . There's units that you can get by clearing different game modes which makes them free to play or "f2p" friendly, as everyone can get them without spending a dime. And then there's theres the rare recruits (RRs) and legends that you can pull for with the premium currency (gems). These are not f2p friendly since you get gems by paying for them. However, you still get quite a lot of gems daily as a f2p player as the game just gives a few out everyday and then you can get a lot during events and stuff, so even if you don't spend any money on this game as long as you save your gems and spend them smartly (I'm saving for the new years banner) you get a decent amount of good legends and RRs
