I rode up an office elevator ( the same one in a scene) with Mr. Murray and James Spader in Calgary while shooting the film. I stupidly said while holding an overfilled takeout food container, “good Chinese on the second floor, just stay away from the chicken balls or any balls, for that matter.” Surprisingly, Mr. Spader laughed, whereas Bill and his security guards did not. Bill did, however, give me a discrete nod the next day when I passed him during a set change on the plus 15.
