I've seen most of the other demos of this pedal, but this demo is the one that has sold me on it. Big kudos to the music, it fit the pedal, the pedal fit the music; perfectly.
Thanks man! I agree, revisiting it with a new amp I'm really impressed with how responsive all the controls are, makes for a ton of flexibility but in a way that always feels under control.
Very nice job pulling these incredible sounds out of the Slö. And your playing is very nice too! I like this a lot. Learned some new tricks for my Slö, thanks for that! 😊
Been thinking about this pedal for a long time. I’m in love with reverbs. Every other demo hasn’t shown me what I needed to hear before buying. This one did. That first melody was lush af and exactly what I’m into . Thanks bro
@@ambienttrash5234 I have a question. Are you using anything besides a looper in the first half? It sounds like maybe you’re using a delay too but I’m unsure. Basically are all the sounds coming from just the slö? Thanks
@@pshhh7856 yes, Slö is the only real effect going on here, just had a Keeley Compressor+ going into it and that's all. Anything that sounds like a delay would just be the loop itself
So beautiful. It would be so awesome if you had tabs to go with these demos. I know, sounds kind of silly, but for those of us who aspire to create these sounds, it would be incredibly useful. You inspire me, and I find peace!
Thanks so much! I have considered this, potentially as part of a Patreon or something along those lines. I'm a bit swamped for the foreseeable future though so no solid plan as of yet.
Tbh not really, I believe Warp just starts with a rise rather than a fall in pitch but they're all very subtly different to my ear. I couldn't even tell you which one I normally use frankly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@ambienttrash5234 Thanks, I thought it was just me. As much as I love the Slö, I'm considering replacing it with the Meris Mercury7 which seems to do the same things as the Slö, but more.
@@flux1968 Ah yeah, the M7 is definitely not a bad choice--I actually have one as well and would agree it does some stuff very similarly to the Slo, though they do go great together in my opinion!
Now i really wanted to sell my OBNE dark star for this but i think im going to miss it😅😅😅 i love my dark star but its not that as versatile just likw this slo
Your demos are great, your music is amazing

Ahh thanks so much, glad to hear it! Enjoy!
Some of the best playing i’ve heard in an ambient demo. Pedal sounds were great but the songs are truly inspirational.
this is the best demo of all, i was in doubt about this pedal, now i'll wait mine
You always make this pedal sound so dang good dude! That sound at 3:00 blew my mind
Thanks man! Honestly even after having it for a while I'm surprised by some of the sounds that come out of it
one of the most beautiful pedals (and demos) i've heard in my life
Thank you, I appreciate that!
Beautifully done... some great tips in there too. Amazing how a pedal that’s so simple in a way, is also so incredibly complex
Thanks man! I agree, revisiting it with a new amp I'm really impressed with how responsive all the controls are, makes for a ton of flexibility but in a way that always feels under control.
Love my Slö too! Thanks for sharing these ideas! Definitely going to try some of them out.
Great review and im totally relaxed from the music . Really looking forward to trying this pedal!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you! You are such an inspiration for my harp music ^^
When a pedal demo becomes art.
Very nice!
Just got mine mainly for the dream setting with the "freeze" function. I love it!!!

Ahh glad to hear it! And thank you, much appreciated friend.
Wow , your playing is beautiful man. Modulated reverb always gets me. Amazing demo 🙌🏻
Thanks so much, I appreciate that!
Great job, think you finally convinced me to add one of these bad boys to my board. Rise mode is too die for, love the modulation on it.
Ayy glad to hear it, Rise honestly took me the longest to figure out and appreciate but it is truly lovely

Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad it helped you!

Bought the pedal after hearing this demo!
awesome demo! gonna have to pick one of these up. subscribed!
hey thank you!

I'm a huge fan of your instagram posts and it's cool to see you hereon youtube!!
Thanks so much, that means a lot! Still got plenty of work to do here compared to IG haha but it's fun to do something a little different
@@ambienttrash5234 yeah me too! I've started livestreaming some ambient live sessions here!
love this
That’s some beautiful playing!
Thank you! 💙
I really wanna use this with my guitar, saxophone, and ocarina
Love This!!!!
Great video, I'm definitely going to be copying some of those controls.
Well done 👍🏻
Great pedal!
Who did the painting in the background? It’s lovely!
This pedal is so good! But I wish mine sounded as good as yours 🤷♂️
Juiioi
I just 89 thumbed you bro! Nice vid
First couple minutes sound incredible man, wondering if you could share the order of your effects?
Thanks! Just a Keeley Compressor+ into the Slö, into the amp and then mic into interface
I actually have this pedal and I can't hear a major difference between the sink and warp wave shapes. Can you?

Imagine that through a quadraverb or hooked up to a copicat I always like t c nova delay with a midiverb2 or quadraverb+
the nasty thing is that even at extreme settings unlike many others this pedal is still keeping musicality
Really hard to choose between this one and the Neunaber Immerse MKII..
Adrien Besson I love the Neunaber!! I’m seriously considering buying this one as well though. Get both!
I love the Slö but gotta admit the Immerse sounds incredible! Hope to be able to play one sometime.
@@ambienttrash5234 I love it because it can be very tasteful and subtle or a complete wash of verb
What guitar were you playing into this pedal? Love the sound of it
This reminds me of duritti column ...

Keep it! I've seen a few people use both with the Dark Star as an early-chain reverb and they go great together!
what chords on rise?
Anyone tried it on bass? If so, how is?
What tuning are you in ?
