The Dream Team wasn't just an NBA All-Star team, it was all the best players from the toughest era of the NBA playing perfect TEAM basketball. The way they moved the ball around was INSANE and they also dominated in the unglamorous parts of the game like defense and rebounds. You never saw that level of teamwork in US Olympic basketball ever again, they all got along and had fun off the court too, it was just perfect chemistry. Chuck Daly doesn't get enough credit for how he coached up what could have been 12 stars with huge egos going in 12 different directions into a well oiled machine.
Without question. The teamwork and chemistry was top-notch, and that's even before considering their immense talent. No one was trying to hog the ball and be the star, the rebounds and assists were just as impressive as the scoring. If this team had created a their own franchise in the NBA, they would have been unstoppable.
As a Detroit kid and Pistons fan I'll say that was just Chuck Daly sprinkling that "Daddy Rich" magic in the locker room, this guy was more father figure than coach in Detroit and one of the best dressed NBA coaches in history dude was always extra crispy.

Just put Jordan and 4 college players they still get gold
@Michael D Jordan played only 8 minutes in the first game and on the next day Dream Team beated college team with 102 points difference. But yeah, they have lost.
Already happened
@Lem Lovel oh please...
@Lem Lovel lol, bullshit shows your extreme lack of basketball acumen.
Fortunate are those who were watching these superstars n The GOAT live. Lucky players who had a chance to play with the champions who are from another planet when it comes to 🏀
This team is basically an Anime Dream Team ! (when they gather after 56 seasons of fighting)
teiko middle school basketball team
There still hasn’t been a team assembled that could touch The Dream Team. These dudes are straight up Super Heros.
Can you imagine Christian Laettner just a college kid at the time playing with all those NBA legends
