I adore your voice in these videos. I remember my old friend giving me tips and saying I had to put on a fake voice if I wanted to make videos (we were young so it's not her fault lol), and that stuck with me. Hearing someone just be... genuine and not over the top is refreshing. Plus, your baking skills are amazing. It's always so satisfying watching these videos and how talented you are. I also never take pics or videos when I'm happy/enjoying the moment, we're too busy having fun to remember to!
Sometimes it’s nice to take a pic of the present moment so in the future you can admire where you once were and where you are now. Phones are gonna be prevalent whether you use them or not, why not make some memories?

Actually, people do this to bakers/decoraters all the time. I watch a lot of different crafting, making, etc channels in different areas (baking, dice making, card making, etc etc) and for some reason people will ask bakers/decorators about stuff like this (are you okay you sound depressed) way more frequently. And tbh I don't think most of the comments are out of concern, either, not with the way I see them and other negativity worded.

They don’t just sound like that 24/7 and you didn’t just randomly walk in on them having the time of their life. Everything on social media is curated.

You’re relaxing to me. I also have a monotone voice and it’s deeper and so many people have brought it up to me which has felt extremely annoying but also frustrating. It’s impossible to be “happy” 100% of the time, and on social media a lot of the happiness is just performance. And it’s sickening to expect people to be like that in real life. Just because someone doesn’t fit your concept of happiness doesn’t mean they’re not happy. And even if they’re not happy that’s okay, that doesn’t mean they’re upset or have problems.
It's 100% because she's a woman. Women are expected to be super expressive in tone and sound like they're smiling, otherwise they are interpreted as being depressed or angry. Idk how many times I've seen females (myself included) have been pulled aside and asked "What's wrong? Why don't you smile?" It's similar to the RBF bull. That would almost never happen to a man.

I’m a very depressed person and nobody cares. It’s weird that the people who actually need concern don’t get it, and the ones that are do fine get all this attention. And I do try to reach out to people. I even had to leave my last church because they weren’t doing anything anything for me.
