Kiri Bloore was responsible for the blackout technical difficulties as she refused to go on-air until her hair was sufficiently coiffured and then turns down the chance of a trip to the BP filling station to have a mushroom slice at their favourite pump (pump number 4) in the manner of Alan Partridge in the second series of I'm Alan Partridge.
