I have 1910, Woodford Double, and Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel. I did side-by-side, and while they're all excellent, 1910 wins hands down for me. Much more going on flavor-wise than the others. In fact, I find myself hitting 1910 more than anything else on my bar (about 25 whiskeys, including some multi-hundred-dollar scotches). Even though the price point is not "daily drinker" level, it is my de-facto daily drinker. If I could only have 5 whiskeys on my bar, 1910 would definitely be one. Bananas Foster drizzles in dark chocolate... yum!
Sure thing man! Love you guys channel. Gotta spread that love. As for the 1910, yeah man I really like it. And the more I drink it and the more the bottle opens up the more I like it. 😉👍🏻
In a few months, I hope to regain the ability to enjoy these simple pleasures. Until then, I live vicariously through you. Please never stop, and blessings upon you and yours for taking the time to share, teach, and enlighten all of us.
Callin' t the way you're seein' it. This is why your reviews are light years ahead of all the others. A man speaking his mind............huh, whatta concept. Keep making em and I'll keep watching em..
I’m just starting my Bourbon journey. I was a neat Jack Daniels all my life; from 16 to 62 yrs old. Finally switched to Jim beam T Beam Single barrel to Four Roses Small batch to Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, to Buffalo Trace to Elijah Craig. All in about 3 months. I even bought a four set of Glencairn glasses. I’m lovin bourbon way better then Jack. Although I do enjoy Jack Daniels Rye. Delicious!
Coming at cha from Louisville, Ky where more Old Forester 86 is sold than all other America combined. I love your channel. The fact that you have such a wide variety on your channel always keeps me wanting more. Starting to notice how many bottles you got there behind you and think we would all love a video on what all bottles you have. Put your mix on it and let’s see what happens. Keep up the great work.
I'm not a drinker - never had a beer in my life, but I do enjoy listening to you describe the tastes and aromas of whiskey. I do believe there is an art to it and I enjoy hearing people talk about it.
Just bought a bottle of this at my liquor store. This is probably my favorite Bourbon to sip on. It was $58 where I got it, it’s so worth the price tag.
Jeremy, great review. I would say never judge a whiskey by it's proof. Higher isn't always better, however, lower than 86 proof usually has a very thin taste. I have a cask strength at 125, and it overwhelmed the flavors, a few drops of water opened it up.
I'm in the 1910 group. Especially since it's harder to get now than 1920. I also think it lingers longer on the palate...much stickier, and smokey. People at the distillery say it's about a 60/40 split with 1920 coming out on top. Wish I bought 2 bottles of this stuff before it disappeared in my area.
When you said the 4th and final, for a split second I thought you were about to end the leaf and barrel series. I was going to be upset. I love this series. If you ever do Merch or shirts, Make sure to get some Small's for the vertically challenged like myself!
Had the opportunity to tour the Old Forester distillery back in November, not expecting much (I hadn't really had any of their stuff before) and came away with a new appreciation for them. I'd say Buffalo Trace and OF are my top 2 distilleries with Wild Turkey coming in at a close 3rd. Need to get me a bottle of this stuff- it sounds great! Awesome vid as always.
Good job with the lighting in this series, The room looks dim and dark like a cigar/whisky room should. You and the whisky and the cigar are clearly visable. The zoom in camera work is also on point.
Great video, as usual. I have a difficult time sensing the notes of whiskey and/or cigars. It's highly possible I haven't a clue how to detect these notes. Oh well. I discovered your channel and love it. You crack me up with your monologue (if you will). I'm seriously LMAO. Your comments on the whiskey regarding the fact that Old Forrester went back down in the proof and then you said l "What the actual (bleep)". I gotta say....I almost spit my drink out all over the furniture. I was laughing so hard. I love your honesty and your approach to your videos. Keep up the great work.
Loving the Cigar and whiskey videos. Not much of a cigar guy myself, but i'm taking notes for future cigar purchases, and learning some things about them. Aweasome content, keep it up, and cheers!
Warm and neat, this is a little sweet for my tastes but over a big ice rock it's perfect. I get tired of the oakiness in the Woodford but this is just right.
Great review Jeremy! I’m an OF guy and I couldn’t agree more with the value. For my money 1920 has more robust flavor and extra punch. Not really into cigars RN but definitely the bourbon. Can wait for OF’s single barrel releases TY at 100 proof.
Thanks brotha!! Yeah man, I really love this pour. I’m not sure why some people weren’t a fan. I think it holds up real well to the 1920. But that’s what’s great about whiskey....everyones palate is a little different and there is a whiskey out there for everyone 😉👍🏻
Hey Jeremy, you should add the TheWhiskeyDic to your list of whiskey channels to watch. Love your bourbon reviews man. You are one of the guys who has got me to expand my whiskey journey from a long time scotch snob to bourbon. Keep them coming, cheers!
Hi Jeremy! Love your content man. I think the marketing slant here is: everybody likes whiskey with a story/history. This particular one has more to do with the double barrel. On their website, OF describes the second barreling at 100 proof "to absorb more of the wood sugars in the oak". OF has a single barrel bourbon at 90 proof, which may or may not be cask strength. I agree all bourbon makers should come out with a single barrel, cask strength bourbon, however, it does not seem to fit into this market line. Maybe OF never released a cask strength bourbon, and it wouldn't be historically accurate.
Wow Jeremy! I've been watching your videos for over a year now and your videos pulled me through some hard times.. also got me into collecting whiskey! Keep doing what you are doing, love the content! "Groetjes"(Greetings) from the Netherlands :)
Awesome cigar & whiskey show, but I would like to see more tech videos like light reviews, cameras and recording things, monitors and all other pc shits, great content all in all, keep them coming!!
If I may, I’ll suggest an odd ball bourbon for you... Hudson distillery double oak. It is by far the best tasting I’ve had yet,( after thousands of dollars of taste testing).
JS, glad to see you enjoyed the OF 1910. I'll go out a buy it now based on your tasting results. Very much enjoy the whiskey and other Man Shit content on your channel. Keep up the good work and having fun. It shows in your videos. Peace.
Big fan of the 1910 - easy sipper IMO. Same for me 1920 vs 1910 is like a Monday vs. a Wednesday night kinda thing - or something like that. You know what I mean. I know. Yup, exactly.
Definitely will try this one I was looking for something with a little more charred oak flavor. Just starting drinking the Woodfords double oak and love it but was expecting a little more charred flavors . So I get what you’re saying .. Looking forward to the leaf part as I also enjoy a good cigar 👊
I know you’re a bourbon guy but hear me out. Dalmore makes a “Cigar Malt” especially for cigar pairing. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts and see what you pair it with.
I wish that they had proofed it between 98-108. That being said, it's excellent on a daily badis. The weird thing here in Taxifornia, it's more expensive and harder to find than 1920, which is plentiful at $54.
Yeah, they missed the mark. People will pay an arm and a leg for Barrel Proof stuff. Even if Old Forester gets less volume, higher price tag should make it worth while. Maybe next time. I'm a new sub and let me tell you, those B-Roll shots are killin' it. Keep up the good stuff.
Bought a bottle of Woodford Reserve double oaked on your recommendation, BOOM!! $$$$$. Researching the double oaked further led me to a bottle of Forester 1910. It’s good...very good, but not as good as the Woodford double.
Jeremy, great stuff as usual! I live in Louisville and I have cousins on my Dad's side that are Siers. Larry, Rick and Dale. Would they be relatives of yours?
Awesome video! I’m exited to see part 2. Side note: You should definately make some merch for your channel. I’m thinking some whiskey glasses with the Leaf & Barrel logo on it. Edit: I haven’t tried 1910 yet but 1920 is one of my favs
Just finished the leaf and barrel ep.4 great review. Hurry up and get the review books in stock. I need one that has the Man Shit logo on it. Love your videos. No Bull Shit just REAL Shit in your videos. Keep up the good work.
Absolutely love this cigar and whiskey content with amazing production value and beautiful visuals

This and the woodford double oaked are my favorites. Really good bottles.
Double oak reserve is getting up there in cost for me.
@@iamamogka Its worth it
Ohhh shit, thanks for the shoutout dude! This is a damn good whiskey. Cheers man!
Sure thing man! Love you guys channel. Gotta spread that love. As for the 1910, yeah man I really like it. And the more I drink it and the more the bottle opens up the more I like it. 😉👍🏻
Choosing between the 1920 and the 1910 ain't easy. So I don't 😎

One of my favorites. I bounce around from this, wild turkey 101 and woodford reserve double oak probably my top 3
1910 is in my top 5 available and affordable bourbons I think it is excellent
Man youre going to live 100+ years Whiskey+Great Cigars 👌🏼🤙🏼🚭🇲🇽
Picked some of this up after watching this. Shocked that a 93 proof could be so smooth! Loving it.
Jeremy, great review. I would say never judge a whiskey by it's proof. Higher isn't always better, however, lower than 86 proof usually has a very thin taste. I have a cask strength at 125, and it overwhelmed the flavors, a few drops of water opened it up.

Just got a bottle of this for the first time. I don’t usually go for bourbon, but this is amazing. Straight Cherry Cola to my tongue.
Sipping some Woodford store pick and watching now.
The 1910 has been my favorite of their whiskey row series by far! So glad I was able to find a bottle here last week...at a reasonable price ha
Finally found a bottle of Old Forester 1910 in VA... that is one fine bottle of bourbon!!! Great review as always.
Man I miss these videos… more leaf and barrel content please
you hit it on the nail for me. I've just started pairing cigars with whiskey. this a bottle I've been curious about. thanks brother!
Leaf and Barrel my new favorite series on one of my favorite channels.... need to try Oban 14
New to whiskey/ bourbon and you got me into Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, so thanks.
Good job with the lighting in this series, The room looks dim and dark like a cigar/whisky room should. You and the whisky and the cigar are clearly visable. The zoom in camera work is also on point.
One of my Favs is the 1920, and I'm talking of all time, so delicious!
Love this Double Oaked Old Fo. Great video.
I’m popping my 1910 for the first time tonight looking forward to it
I thought the same about the mouth feel on this. VERY creamy palate and viscous feel! Really like this stuff

Love an Old Forester
I’m a big fan of their bourbons. Their 100proof makes a great bourbon to infuse with fresh GA peaches... mmmm
Cheers
Doc
@JeremySiers, I used to gnaw on my baseball glove.
Leather tastes like it smells, but with a bitter finish.
Loving the Cigar and whiskey videos. Not much of a cigar guy myself, but i'm taking notes for future cigar purchases, and learning some things about them. Aweasome content, keep it up, and cheers!
Wonderful whiskey, complex. And delicious
Heavy toasting brings forward the sugars/vanilla notes. Heavy charring turns layers of wood into charcoal that serves as absorbent/filter.
This is the only one I can’t find, I have the other 3 and love them all, I love Old Forester whiskey
I do love me some Garrison Brothers. This is nice too.
Sippin 1920!
It’s been a couple months since I I’ve watched your channel. Great shit man. I love when you talk cigars and 🥃
Sipp'in on hard to find 1910 as you speak. Thumbs up!
Warm and neat, this is a little sweet for my tastes but over a big ice rock it's perfect. I get tired of the oakiness in the Woodford but this is just right.

You talked me into wood Ford reserve and I think you have just talked me into this! Can’t believe. I almost gave up after trying makers mark!
Slayed yet another one! Loving the new series, keep them coming. Love what Old Forester has going one, they're killing it. Cheers brother!
Thanks brotha!! Yeah man, I really love this pour. I’m not sure why some people weren’t a fan. I think it holds up real well to the 1920. But that’s what’s great about whiskey....everyones palate is a little different and there is a whiskey out there for everyone 😉👍🏻

Thry win the award for most overrated and overpriced whiskeys
Amazing as usual Jeremy! Such a calming video! Love it! 👊
I found your channel yesterday, and I haven't watched anything else afterwards. Love your videos man! :D
Excelente bourbon 👍🏻
Love the channel and this new feature of Leaf & Barrel is great
It took me two years to find the 1910, in New Jersey. I can get the 1920 anytime. I enjoy both, 1910 is my pick.
I hard a hard time too, but found a bottle today for $10 below List 😳
Old Forester has a single barrel and a barrel proof whiskey both coming out this year. Supposed to be around may.
Awesome cigar & whiskey show, but I would like to see more tech videos like light reviews, cameras and recording things, monitors and all other pc shits, great content all in all, keep them coming!!

Because of you I started to take interest in cigars. So expect request for reimbursement soon :D Keep up the great work!
Decided to pour a glass of 1910 and watch this review to compare notes. You are spot in with the raisin/ Raisin Bran note.
It’s Raisin Bran all day right!? Glad you get the same thing. That means I’m not going crazy 😜 😂👍🏻
JeremySiers couldn’t agree more. I would have never been able to pinpoint that myself. Keep it up the great work
1870, 1897, 1910, 1920 proofs graduated. That opportunity still there ole friend 😜 never say never.
I’ve only had the old forester rye which is delicious. I should give this or the 1920 a try next. Thanks for another fun review!

I know you’re a bourbon guy but hear me out. Dalmore makes a “Cigar Malt” especially for cigar pairing. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts and see what you pair it with.
It's also great for cognac lovers. I get very much cognac notes from it, it's insane. The best dalmore out there.

Thanks for the video. Sounds like a really good tasting bourbon but the pricing might hold me back. Have to go and check it out and see. Thanks again
Well done sir! I have very similar feelings about this one. Cheers!
I need more EDC gear vids... you're turning me into an alcoholic :)
😂 lots of edc stuff in the pipeline. 👍🏻
His content is great. I'm not an alcoholic yet lol but, my smoke game is up for sure because of his videos and reviews. Solid Man Shit!
Goes great with a Gurkha
O Fo Single Barrel is what you need to try my friend.
Just found your channel and am hooked! The dark fruit that you kept mentioning, what I picked up was fig. Cant wait to watch the cigar video!
Yup, I can totally see it as a fig 👍🏻
You gotta try the 1920. It's really something special.
Love the video and the review!
They met the same proof or near proof with Woodford Reserve double barrel..... 1910 matched up well against Woodford and has often been preferred..
Love from India
Love both 1910 and1920, no need to choose. But, how much stronger than 1920's 115 proof do you want barrel strength to be?
Jeremy, great stuff as usual! I live in Louisville and I have cousins on my Dad's side that are Siers. Larry, Rick and Dale. Would they be relatives of yours?
Awesome!! Small world....those are my uncles. Glad to meet ya! 😉👍🏻

love the channel... thanks for sharing... everything... PSSST... willett family estate rye should be your next review :) 4 yr, or 8yr ;)
The 1920 prohibition is " the Bomb". I wonder if the 1910 is like Woodford double oaked? Both of them are from Brown Foreman distillers.
Very similar. Both great. For me, woodford more oaky. 1910 sweeter
Awesome video! I’m exited to see part 2.
Side note: You should definately make some merch for your channel. I’m thinking some whiskey glasses with the Leaf & Barrel logo on it. Edit: I haven’t tried 1910 yet but 1920 is one of my favs
