I don't do Halloween but this kit is almost free of actual Halloween stuff. I really appreciate your willingness to give a free kit and look forward to seeing the page kit that will follow. I loved loved loved the first several free projects and have made them a couple of times.
Tinne, I love this project. I just finished making it and it turned out so well. I also put one of my folder papers upside down. I did not notice it until I was flipping thru it. LOL. I put one of the large blue folders on the backside of the cover to make a pocket for that folded paper to slip into. Then the other pocket pieces I glued to the other pages, I put one on each page. I cut the picture of the lady in a frame at the bottom and made her into a pocket for the inside of the back cover. I love this project, even though mine did not turn out like yours, it was still nice. I am going to try it again and see if I can get one done like yours. Those papers are gorgeous! Who wouldn't love that gramophone with the smokey lady? Very nice design of the booklet. I like that the first card can be turned into a small notebook. So looking forward to making this. It's a nice variation to the Christmas crafts and the larger projects I've been doing lately.

It's wonderful how well the Halloween Free printable looks. I printed on regular white card stock and the images are crisp and clear. WOW! Each page is lovely. I watch your videos and love all you offer, this is my first time to download and print one you've offered. Thank you, I'm off to cut the images out, score where needed and assemble..

I just thought I'd mention, regarding the secret pockets, a lot of my gifts are made for elderly folks who find it difficult to grasp items in the pocket without the tab opening. So I think it depends on who you are making the folio for that you should consider how secret you want to make your pockets. LOL, I just love working on your projects with you. You are the most clear and concise trainer and I've learned a lot from you and have become more confident in my other projects since I started following you. And just in final thought, I've dovetailed my ribbon ends and then applied a very thin line of glue to the ends to keep them from fraying.
@@michaelasmaturemakeupbeaut816 I used the color of the blue that's in the design (I believe a 1/4" inch). I also fussy cut all of the picture frames to give it some depth. And the glue I use in all of my projects other than hot glue which doesn't work in this project, is tacky glue. I know a lot of people vow on the glitter glue, but tacky works just fine and it dries rather quickly. I also used a glue bottle that is meant for quilling. It has the same nozzle that the glitter glue has, but is much cheaper.

I really love this tutorial. You always make interesting projects. I've watched a lot of journally get projects but I've never attempted to try them yet. This is one I find so fascinating with all kinds of flips and hidden pockets as well as pages ephemera designed as pockets and this one I think I would really like to try. My printer is not really suitable for printed much in color because unless it's a document it come out disclosed and very faded. This one has few enough pages that I think I with go to an office supply store and have them. Print deep color on the thicker paper and they are not so many pages I should be able to say enough from my pension checks to pay for it. I would really like to get all these fancy tools like a scoreboard, ink and brushes. The one time the craft advertised the ink on sale, the vintage photo and darker brownish colors were sold out so they only had several blues and weird orange colors. I have collected a lot of recyclables but with nothing nice to put over it it would look boring and bland. I really some day like to try to be knowledgeable to try some of the fancier videos of ome of the various crafters that use you beautiful paper like a hard lap book with journal inside or like the one that's a interesting box that closes on the side by magnets and inside sometimes there's extra flips but do have a journal book made with your lovely designs. Thank you for the free mini project and I love all your beatiful kits you create and wish that some day I'll save enough to order one and get it printed. Thank you for your ingenuity and your free printable.

I really some day like to try to be knowledgeable to try some of the fancier videos of ome of the various crafters that use you beautiful paper like a hard lap book with journal inside or like the one that's a interesting box that closes on the side by magnets and inside sometimes there's extra flips but do have a journal book made with your lovely designs.
