My favorite version of the character that I think does his duality so well only had one appearance. New 52 Batman and Robin #23.1 or Two-Face #1. This comic showed Two-Face having his day decided for him by flipping a coin. Scarred heads he becomes the mobster crime lord version we are used to. However, if the coin lands on good heads he becomes a vigilante in the same vain as Marvel's Punisher. Going on a rampage and killing criminals and those he believed deserve punishment, fitting considering his career as a lawyer and originally wanting to see justice done. This version mirrors Batman's duality in a very unique way. Batman seeks to punish the guilty and get justice for the innocent they have wronged yet would never break his moral code and take a life. However Batman does indeed have a darkness inside him and part of him would nothing more than to have bloody vengeance for both himself and others who have been wronged but is able to keep his dark side in check. This version of Two-Face is what Batman could potentially be if he were to give into his darker instincts and step over that line.
God Harvey’s my fave batman villain I relate to him a lot with both mental and physical issues. His design is literally always top tier and I love that it isn’t shied away from in live action and people still find him attractive. And he’s the best foul to Bruce especially in continuities where they’re childhood friends. Idk why they always push joker as his foil it’s clearly Harvey.
its amazing how comic mental disorders chosen for the villains are based on names of disorders or the awful misrepresentation made popular in 80s(and on) movies and nothing to do with symptoms. two faces = bipolar (what you mean like manic depression?) and of course movie schizophrenia of the imaginary split personality sort, puppet master totes the sort of movie schizophrenia where the symptoms align with d.i.d.
@@ComicBookGuy420 several over the years ... as i have a bachelors and masters in psychology. not that it's needed when movie diagnoses have been ass backwards for decades with a penchant for same predictable ass symptoms always wrongly assigned to 3-4 of same predictable ass disorders with spookie ookie mystique why? something on your mind you want psych book answers to?

Exactly!
Harvey doesn`t have bipolar disorder, he has a mix of borderline, schizophrenia and dissociative personality disorder.
"Jim gordon is my friend" "Harvey dent is my friend"
Two-Face is absolutely amazing!!!

Nice vid
All of DCs villains are fascinating to me. It's sad that like Harvey, most of them start off as good people.
Love Harvey's character in many forms
Two face is awesome i had a badass figure of him as a kid i loved it
Came here just to say I'm sorry but nobody has a sadder story than Victor Fries
Harvey salt and pepper 🫑🌶️ hair is unique
its amazing how comic mental disorders chosen for the villains are based on names of disorders or the awful misrepresentation made popular in 80s(and on) movies and nothing to do with symptoms. two faces = bipolar (what you mean like manic depression?) and of course movie schizophrenia of the imaginary split personality sort, puppet master totes the sort of movie schizophrenia where the symptoms align with d.i.d.
What did you crack open a book on mental illnesses?
@@ComicBookGuy420 several over the years ... as i have a bachelors and masters in psychology. not that it's needed when movie diagnoses have been ass backwards for decades with a penchant for same predictable ass symptoms always wrongly assigned to 3-4 of same predictable ass disorders with spookie ookie mystique
why? something on your mind you want psych book answers to?
one of my favorite batman villains
His third persona was the judge
There could have two versions of any Two-Face Black label comic, show both (The Harvey Dent and Two-Face) Side of the same story.
Moral of the story:don’t beat your kid.
black mast is underestimated
Did he really need to explain a double sided coin?
If he didn’t someone would have complained.
Good stuff
Does anyone know who did the art for the two-face on the right of the thumbnail?
No no no no no he can only flip heads it's a 2 headed coin
Gotham has a backstory to him
If he gets his own series today. He'll be non binary with one half dating penguin and the other half trying to seduce Bruce Wayne.
My favorite villain in Batman
When I was young I thought it was tooth face 😂
And that is why i sometimes dont like Harley Quinn Animated Series and Batman : Gotham By Gaslight Animated Movie . That show and movie really fucked and messed up poor Two-Face and did him dirty .
god i loved animated series two face but also the other batman tas where they kinda mixed clayface with two face
Title: Batman's most terrifying villain
Scarecrow: 💔
You think Two Face is more tragic than Mr. Freeze?
The film is actually "The Dark Knight Rises", not "Returns".
Not that one.
@@davidchalmers2504 Oh, you mean the animated film version of Frank Miller's story, right?
@@michaelchoman1625 Yep! Two-Face was already dead in Rises.
Who remembers the two face and penguin war?
Two face the villain best of joker
Two face is best layer time
Bipolar doesn't cause multiple personalities...🤦♂️
COPE
As someone with Bipolar, I don't care
There's another Two Face story: The Long Halloween.
When did two face beat killer croc ?
DC Black mask next?
Harvey might've had paranoia but Two-Face has certain DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder), not schizofrenia ^^
Good video though
What about his split personality... the Judge!?
I think Two-Face is kinda affraid of this part of himself.
He's got 3 personalities in that cartoon
The judge isn't canon
She's amazing to
