The Anielewicz's Bunker

“Mordechaj Anielewicz, together with 80 young fighters, makes a dramatic decision - everyone commits collective suicide,” says Hanna Dzielińska (Hanka Warszawianka), journalist and tourist guide in the second part of ‘Remnants of the ghetto’ film project, dedicated to the Anielewicz Bunker. It was a shelter that no longer exists today, located on the corner of Miła and Dubois streets in Muranów, Warsaw. At the end of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, the militants of the Jewish Fighting Organization hid there, and then died on 8 May 1943, together with their commander, Mordechaj Anielewicz.
