It’s okay to have different opinions on music people. It’s also possible to like certain parts of an album without liking others. Anyway, sharing your opinions and perspectives is cool, that’s what makes art dope. Just keep it respectful in the comments, no need to get emotional. Update: Right now for me the album is a 7/10. Not his best work, but it has its moments. - Darae
the ill rather lose my legs than lose my respect .... in my opinion he is referring to Quentin miller cause he lost his leg ... and also lost his respect for being someones (Drake) ghost writer.....Just a reach tho 🙊
Sreejit Sarkar don’t matter, you’re reaching, most reactions just sit there and listen out the song but not so much to what he/she is saying in their music as to what these guys to and evaluate the songs in depth at the end
Sharnesa Mcqueen Did I tell u anything about your first watch.Im just saying he is not that much of a complex rapper.......matter of fact very very ordinary compared to the likes of Kendrick/J.cole.So anybody can understand him at first shot and not spend unnecessary time and energy trying to decode his bars.
Big ups for not hating on the album like almost everyone else... People ready to crucify Drake after that Pusha beef and came into this album crazy biased and expecting bangers to compensate... If you know hip hip you know the bars on side A were crazy. Not his best album but not deserving of anywhere near the amount of hate he's taken for it
also unknown as best comment that sums up the album when i first heard it the word trash Never came to mind, there are songs i can do without but for the most part i like the album side A is 9.5/10 for me side B is a 7/10 for me
also unknown as I don’t understand ppl like you. If we don’t like the album we’re hater. Music is subjective u can’t tell no one what is good or not. I don’t mind u liking the album but dont need to push it on everybody else saying it’s a good album imo it’s 6/10
Funfun6000 I don’t think he’s talking about everybody who didn’t like it, every body of work has haters no matter what. I think he’s referring to the fact that the album released right after he took a fat L to another artist in which a lot of people are associating with the quality of the album
JC Jordan I don’t know why that affect the quality He took a L so what. I can understand that ppl had high hope of him dropping a great album to combat the L he took against pusha T
Everyone saying this album is boring because there’s not a lot of hype or party tracks that you can get lit to. If you actually listened to other types of music you would love this album.
Yall are easily one of my fav channels on this shit. Always great content. Yall mad analytical and know what y’all be talking about. Separates yall from a lot of other ppl. 💯
Broo watched this when it came out but I wanted to come back and your guys reaction when Drake say “A wise man once said nothing at all” is so funny cuz you guys both react the same way.
just like in Upset where he says something like "SMS, triple X...That’s the only time I ever shoot below the neck" .... as a Drake fan I am upset he hasn't been vocal about XXX passing even if they were beefing at times.
The problem with Drake is that he really doesn't sing anymore. You listen to all of these songs and none of them have the singing Drake that we got back in 2009 - 2011. I miss the singing like he used to do in songs like "Shot for me" or "houstatlantavegas". Plus his albums used to have a certain feeling to them like take care, nothing was the same and views all had themes. This album just sounds like a big mixtape. 5/10
Romy Taylor go back and listen to his first couple albums and tell me you don't hear the difference. He doesn't have the same melodic feeling, he doesn't even go for the high notes anymore. The singing in this one is more mono and boring. The only song on the album you get some of it is March 14 and it's for a brief second
My theory on this project is that Drake originally wasn't gonna do a Side A or B and here's why I think this. The last playlist was called More Life so it would make sense for Drake to start off with the track "Is There More" sort of questioning life. I think Side A was created to address the beef. Think about it in the sense with the release date too, Drake never really gave us one and then literally last week of June he gave us the album so he had time to cook up a a whole Side A.
Freddie Adams to be dead ass honest duppy > addidon. Addidon has great shock value lines but as far as creativity and musically duppy is hands down better
Freddie Adams fair enough and I will agree it had the heavier hits but personally I love that duppy can be revisited and enjoyed as well as having multiple entendres & sonic appeal.
Who cares accept tha fact that hes still gonna be the most popular artist out and if ur still talking bout pusha a year from now on drakes other songs than sumthin wrong with u
Drake you are in the safe house Pusha T I don't forgot him already with this album I'm going to listen to this all the way through next year let's go shout out to y'all that are reacting to this album y'all keep doing your thing man
Let's be honest. If you was really hiding his kid from the world and why was he going to put his kid out there with a sneaker deal? Don't just buy into what he's saying. Think. Snakes have slick tongues LMAO.
Gr8ful 1 lets be real Bro he came out about it because his ass got called out and wasn’t left a choice. That’s like a kid saying he didn’t write on the wall, but u see the pen in his pocket with ink on his fingers, and then the kid has no choice but to say, “yea I did that.”🤷🏾♂️
Joshua Williams goes to show that Drake isn’t perfect. I like when he says “this is the world that we live in” like it’s a fucked up world lol and he’s hiding it from his son. Hasn’t drake ever heard of the saying “be the change you want to see”? Maybe he has but hasn’t done much about it because he isn’t a conscious rapper like J Cole but that’s the most conscious I heard Drake was in that song (“emotionless”). Pusha’s diss probably made him more conscious about his situation lol.
First off, I have to say you guys are masterful in your critiques of albums. I think you guys highlighted something that was a big issue with me, and that is his identity crisis with this album. I enjoy the feeling of knowing the theme of my rapper. I feel that this new album has no theme, and it is all over the place. I think this scattered album is do to Pusha. Instead of staying with what he does best, he used this album to address his insecurities with mainly Pusha. Additionally, when you got projects like Nas, Pusha, Nipsey, Jay Rock, Royce, and etc... this album isn’t even in the mix. He has too much of a name and resources to not blow the listed out of the water. I was expecting album of the year, and this ain’t it. Exactly, that’s what I expect from someone of his ilk. Anything less is a failure. Oh yeah, I was listening as hard as I could, but did he address the black face?I don’t know too much about him personally, because he does a great job of not just hiding his kid, but he also does a fantastic job of hiding his identity. That concerns me, because I don’t know if this guy is really into hip hop, or is he just in it for the cash. Sorry about the length.
msawmusic Please, explain what you mean about versatile. I don’t want my rapper to be a jack of all trades, and a master of nothing. I don’t like buffets. I want quality. I feel like I was served a whole plate of garbage. This is suppose to be Drake, right. My expectations are high, like a Dr. Dre beat. Anything less than that is unacceptable.
Yoooo!!! Y’all the first niggas to catch that last word/first word shit on “That’s How You Feel.” Good shit. And that “I’d rather lose my leg shit was a Quinten Miller shot cus he got his leg amputated. Great review.
5:29 - I know you were on the spot doing this, but I have to add Frank Ocean to the list of artists who can switch from rapping to singing really well. He does it so well imo. He is mostly singing, so it’s totally understandable to not think of him.
Was a fan since so far gone, I think this album is his worst though imo, my favourite parts are few and far between. Even if he shortened the album to the better tracks it would still feel weak compared to his other works.
Everybody who says trash album doesn't know you cant have all bangers or else they would all sound the same... that's why he had so many different sounds in this album

VibeVilla facts
The guy in the hoodie is the best at catching bars...he gotta be an M.C. I like you guys channel and will continue to support.
Sharnesa Mcqueen Drake ain't that much of a lyrical rapper that u have to spend time for understanding his bars😂😂😂. Anyone can do it.
Sreejit Sarkar don’t matter, you’re reaching, most reactions just sit there and listen out the song but not so much to what he/she is saying in their music as to what these guys to and evaluate the songs in depth at the end
Sreejit Sarkar this isnt my first watch. The Nas breakdown and there were several other artist he dissected that was impressive to me.
Donovan Smith thanks bro.

I love how you guys break down the lyrics, its on a whole other level from every other reaction channel, keep doing you!
Them and Lost In Vegas the best at this!

This album wasn’t disappointing and that’s it. Had everything you could ask for. These lyrics will make you think bout your life.
Sandra's rose is the best one on a lyrical level.
I think its emotionless but this one too
Is there more by far
scorpion is one of my favourite albums and the way the mans in the hoodie explained it to me makes me love it even more, i never realised
I love how you guys analyse the lyrics. Amazing videos, so happy I found you two
Where Kids See Ghost at? Just a reaction would be alright. Doesn't have to be a first reaction.
Everyone saying this album is boring because there’s not a lot of hype or party tracks that you can get lit to. If you actually listened to other types of music you would love this album.

nonstop’s beat is a sample from the song Hip Hop from Dead prez
Wooow that blew my mind ur right tho
one of the best reviews ive seen
Drake should have use a picture of Adidon and Sophia for Scorpion's cover, that would have been hot
LYNX than they would have said he’s copying kanye West an when u think about it drake is gonna be forever be linked with kanye
STUDENT-RYNE SIERRA thx for the update 😉
debra Smith would they though
This is probably the best and most I've ever heard a song broken down... fire breakdowns!!!
You didn’t realize in the song Mob ties he said Louie bags in exchange for body bags. What was stolen from ex when he killed?
just like in Upset where he says something like "SMS, triple X...That’s the only time I ever shoot below the neck" .... as a Drake fan I am upset he hasn't been vocal about XXX passing even if they were beefing at times.
Rachel Martinez You stupid if you don’t understand that bar smh
I haven’t heard the album. Not a Drake hater, just not a fan. I heard it here tho.

nalim lattarai what?!
So glad someone else loves the album as much as me.

Still not the same that's him rapping a little louder. Listen to "I get lonely too" and it's a night and day difference with his singing
Yes omg I’ve been saying the same thing. Drake was a way better singer earlier in his career then nowadays.
@@DatBoi_Raheemdisagree
u telling me finesse or jaded aren’t good rnb ?
Very dope album. A lot of haters but Drake has always been versatile and provides lots of sounds and styles.

12:12 how the flow sound like tory if tory took his flow from drake? LMAOO
Kuz Tory has that sound first since Fargo
anthony spencer this a two year old comment nigga lmao
@@anthonyspencer9527 drake has been rapping wayyy before tory...
Ronan Whittaker how he better than drake when one of his inspirations are drake😐plus numbers say otherwise
Great observations guys excellent job!
Y’all dope! Just subbed. Y’all caught the meaning of lot of the bars! Great job.
This still don't heal the wounds pusha put on him! Those lil snack snack responses to what push shot at him did not erase that beat down!
Freddie Adams to be dead ass honest duppy > addidon. Addidon has great shock value lines but as far as creativity and musically duppy is hands down better
Taylor DuBose I respect ur call on it but to me pusha diss track did what a diss track supposed to do shock u and make u react!
Freddie Adams fair enough and I will agree it had the heavier hits but personally I love that duppy can be revisited and enjoyed as well as having multiple entendres & sonic appeal.
Toddy never said the music wasn't good or that he wasn't spittin on the album but ok.
Who cares accept tha fact that hes still gonna be the most popular artist out and if ur still talking bout pusha a year from now on drakes other songs than sumthin wrong with u
I'm upset isn't good unless you watching the video with it honestly

This album is about the duality of Drake. He’s versatile.
msawmusic Please, explain what you mean about versatile.
Real Talk you explained all the shit you don’t like. Doesn’t make it true for everyone (obviously). Hence why Drake is so popular.

Don’t get me wrong I’m a drake stan, but that’s dope.
Are you guys from Toronto or do you guys live somewhere in Canada??
the way you siked him on that "Jhene Aiko" feature at 20:10 hilarious lmao
You guys should listen to MF DOOM. You guys could spend hours dissecting his rhymes. Shit is so complex and fire. I reccomend Madvillainy
Was a fan since so far gone, I think this album is his worst though imo, my favourite parts are few and far between. Even if he shortened the album to the better tracks it would still feel weak compared to his other works.
Romy Taylor the lyrics don't redeem it, the vast majority of the production and flows on this just weren't up to shape imo
Great reaction guys! Caught some things I didn't get.
The people in the comments must be multi platinum selling artists the way they talking down on this man smh
DJ Paul did his thing on that talk up song!!!
Y’all must be hella high as hell to be able to catch every bar in a matter of seconds, probably got a grip of clear eyes stashed in your dash lol

Young Dab-A-Roosa Yeah quality over quantity boy.
Lord Bethoven The 3rd is he wrong though? In my opinion there's way too many songs. If Drake cut out half and kept the best songs he would've had another great album, but this is average.
Did ya'll make this video at 5 am or?
