Well done Mike. That’s some machinery on display. I love see the combines in full action. That grain cart was a monster as well. Love all the different colours of combine harvester. Sure looks amazing my friend.
It was cool meeting you on Wednesday. My daughter asked if you were the guy that made the silage videos I watch religiously. I said yep that's the guy.
Mike, I was able to meet you and pick up a hat on Wednesday. Scott and Bob Welker were back in the Versatile area and I had a nice conversation with them too!
I thought all the machines did a nice job as far as any grain lost out the back. It's nice that they windrow most of the larger residue for safety purposes, helps see how good separation was. The corn seemed fairly dry and all did a nice job threshing from a cob left standpoint. Any of the non chopping corn heads I think left less than desired stalks. The speed of these new machines challenge just a stalk roll. The drago gt double chopping head I think did the best job of sizing the stalk. Reminds me of what a rota-disc looks like but with flat cut stalk bases(gerringhoff didn't have one there) Followed by capello and claas. It was nice to see all the machines and smell harvest.
I didn't realize that the FPS and HCOP were so close together date wise. Not surer which I'd rather see, but I do love watching the big machines do their thing next to the other big machines. A :lot of great machines right here all together in one place.
Fendt is way more premium when it comes to tractors, the axions are good tractors at a decent price but personally the fendts are the way to go…different when it comes to combines, claas outshine the rest ;-)
@@Zero01k I mean it was pretty crappy corn so it's not hard for a combine to look good, but I was very surprised. Especially considering the 790 is probably a little more than half the price of an x9.
Not to odd, a class 8 Lexion 8600 has outrun an X9 class 10(or 11 or whatever they claim it is), in corn, more bushels in a shorter time in the same field at the same time, last year in Nebraska.
yeah it looked like that to me, although that don't really mean anything, maybe he was more interested in doing a good job and not thrown it out the back. I can guarantee the Deere was putting grain out the back, lol.
@@Zero01k I've never had any issues with wetter corn. I can about guarantee you walk behind the Deere, you will grain loss out the back, that you won't see with a CaseIH. I can't comment on the other brands, because I've never ran any or been around any of them. I thought maybe when Deere finally went to a rotor that they might solve the grain loss issue, but from what I've heard from Deere guys, its still a issue. I've always been able to run faster shelling corn and cutting beans with a CaseIH than the guys with Deere's. It may be the CaseIH guy was more concerned about doing a better job, and not putting grain out the back, over the other combines. Or maybe the guy running the CaseIH was inexperience, and/or they didn't have it set up right, although I can't imagine they would have a newb set the combine up, lol.
Class combine is a beast
I was there Wednesday it was awesome to meet you and see all the equipment 👍
It was a pleasure meeting you and visiting with you on Tuesday morning. You're right, it turned out to be a scorcher! Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the video. It's good to see that all these new combines still have Cab Hoppers for the Cab Corn :-)
Mike, we had a conversation at the booth on Tuesday morning. Thanks for your time. From Central Illinois.
It amazes me how fast these things process corn, just truly amazing.
It's always great to see different brands in one field👍😁 the field demos are nice😉👍
Thanks for sharing👍👍
My daughter and I got to grab a hat Tuesday morning. It was a pleasure to meet you. 👍😎
Great awesome video mike, love those big combines . Great demonstrations
You are the best Mike Less thank you for your videos
Watching this video my eyes started to water and my nose stopped up just thinking about all the dust in the air .
Another great video Mike .
The Class and the Fendt were seriously hammer down even when unloading!
Great video Mike. The Farm Progress Show looks like beautiful!

Great video. I believe you could fit my whole house inside that Balzer 2350. That is some big equipment - really neat. Thanks Mike.
Great Video. Glad to see the Gleaner & Lexion .
it was great meeting you! thanks for the snazzy hat!!
Great video Mike.these combines really move fast!
It's amazing that these machines can do as many bushels in a couple hours as it used to take all day not that long ago
Those 8000 series Lexions have a lot of potential
It was cool meeting you on Wednesday. My daughter asked if you were the guy that made the silage videos I watch religiously. I said yep that's the guy.
A lot of very nice equipment out there. Thanks Mike 👍 😊
That’s a really nice line up of equipment! I’ll have to try and make it to Boone next year that’s only about 2 hrs from us. Thanks for the video Mike.
Awesome pictures!
Thanks a lot for the video! 😊👍🏻

The Claas combines seemed to do a real fine job flattening the stalks. A lot of good looking tractors and grain carts, wouldn't you say Mike?
It's all about the corn head. Looks like it had a capello corn head on it
Make sure next year you go to the Boone Valley scenic Railroad. It is awsome!
Great video Mike!
Its was awesome to meet you in person at the show
This was excellent. Appreciate you making these videos

I liked the looks of the kinze tracked grain cart
Very nice👍combines are amazing machines
It looked like a show off race through the corn field!
neat to see all new equipment but same time sad reminder of how big everything has gotten and smaller operations go by the wayside
Live to south to go to show but watch your videos every time you post would love to have one of your hats
It looks like that claas combine is running some speed.... how fast are they running mike?
It was great to get to talk to you mike

To bad the RT520 Versatile wasn't demonstrated at the show. Would of been nice to see.
The RT 520 is no longer marketed in North America.
@@farmhandmike that's sad to hear. I really liked the design of the machine and cab. They looked good in Versatile Colors.
Claas Axion vs Fendt? Your opinions?
Fendt is way more premium when it comes to tractors, the axions are good tractors at a decent price but personally the fendts are the way to go…different when it comes to combines, claas outshine the rest ;-)
no manufacturer put a right side auger grain cart out there to catch the harvesters?
Fast ground speeds. Some look like they’re in road gear! Lotta thru-put. What did it look like on the ground behind the machine?
Great vidieo, Mike, thanks.... what were the moisture readings in that field between machines ?
Well hell, the 790 looked like it was going just as good as the x9 with the same head.
You noticed that did you, odd is it not

Do they still do a cultivation show? The disc rippers and such?
Claas tractors in the US ?
Yes, finally, it was about time to be honest. The Xerion has been over here for sometime now, the Axion and others were brought here in 2019 I think.
Any idea on the yield and moisture?
Why did Ford get out of the farm equipment business?
No MF or Challenger, just Gleaner, from AGCO? Also, what happened to Versatile (Rostselmash)?
Fendt Ideal is from AGCO.
Massey, Challenger and Versatile can’t compete with the big brands, especially in corn.
@@tsint Forgot about that.
@@Ellison89Brett Really? Why is that?
The Versatile combine is no longer available in North America.
Why is it that none of the combine manufactures build grain carts?
No Massey or Challenger combines? Did Agco quit these?
As far as I know the Challenger branded combine hasn't been in the lineup for a while and I believe the Massey may not be around either.
Why are you so far away?
I can't read the name or brand of the combine.
Rate the combines Mike. I
No tribine this year?
Noticed there was no Massey Ferguson combines.I was at the last Indiana FPS from 9-25-9-27,2001
You signed my Dekalb asgrow hat on Wednesday
LOL its still green !? and you make grain with it !? and not silage !?
The red combines looked the slowest. It's kinda hard to see if the headers were all the same size.
yeah it looked like that to me, although that don't really mean anything, maybe he was more interested in doing a good job and not thrown it out the back. I can guarantee the Deere was putting grain out the back, lol.
Caseih machines can't handle the green foliage as good as the others
