This is easily one of my favorite matches. I love seeing a blood mage played well, especially as a singular hero, and it's really fun to combine him with griphon riders. Plus there were twists and turns so it wasn't like one continuous win streak until the end, like some games end up being. All in all gg boi.

If you look up BM on liquipedia you can see BM used to be crazy OP. Flamestrike had no damage cap, Banish lasted twice as long at half mana and Siphon mana both drained more mana and had more range. Man I can imagine early patch BM being broken as fuck. Dun forget the bug that made the phoenix locked on 1 hp.

Blm would be op with some other races. Take UD for example. His siphon mana and banish would go so well with DK/Lich.

I love the Bane mask and impressions! lol Once you got level 10 with the Blood Mage, did you consider getting a second hero? Maybe a Paladin for aura, etc.?
I don't remember anymore but I'd probably be too lazy to get a second hero. If it seems like the game is going to continue for some time then you should definitely get another hero to soak up XP unless he is just going to feed the enemy and constantly be killed at level 1.
