Excellent footage, as always. Quick question: do you "burn in" brakes on new bikes? A half dozen or so high-speed, heavy applications of the brakes can help alleviate some of the grabbiness (if that's a word). Also, the 450's rotating mass may also be offsetting some of the 250's grabby tendencies. One more Q: have you tested identical bikes in different environments? I'm curious if your reviews may differ in areas closer to sea level and in tight, wooded confines.

@@jasonswanson5630 yes for sure you’d just need the correct springs for your weight and probably some valving would help for sure. It all depends on what type of riding you do, weight etc.

I wish the Japanese manufacturers would come out with some hard enduro models. They have some good hairscrable bikes, but most people these days want hard enduro bikes for trail riding.
At first i thought it needs stiffer rebound in the rear, but you may be right. either way, its clearly not balanced between compression and rebound. too much motion for the terrain and speeds shown. how about... more low speed compression to slow the bouncing, less hi speed compression to help on the rocks, and less rebound to keep it from packing. maybe too, the stiff fork valving is messing up the rear action. its reacting to the front not settling in, so is squatting more at the back. if so, raise the fork tubes, lessen rear sag and put on a longer chain to get the wheelbase out another inch. I have really made handling gains by keeping the chain tensioner all the way back towards the axle stop, by using different length chains as they wear. makes the bike longer and puts more weight on the fork. Honda just shortened this chassis by an inch, so doing this could be key for all 22 250's, plus 21 and 22 450"s.
