As a son of Assam Rifles veteran who spent his entire childhood in fauji environment, it's nostalgic and I can totally relate to those days at evening mandir, when we shaitans would drop in mandir all muddy straight from ground and we used to get extraordinarily religious on those days just for the sake of 'aatey ka halwa'😂 I'll share this video with my Kumaoni and Garhwali mates to remind them the good old days.

Major Gaurav I am die hard fan of you. As a civilian I also served with Army. One of my cousin commissioned & served in 2nd Kumaun Regt in 1957, (Maj Gen D.D Saklani was his course mate from NDA/IMA) later he commanded 13th Kumaun Regt during Bangladesh war in 1971. Younger cousin brother commissioned in 3rd Bihar Regt & commanded 3rd Bihar from 1983 to 1986. I visited his 3rd Bihar Regt when the battalion was in Puh in 1984.
