i really like the secret friday updates looking back even though i wasn't around for them at the time, it feels like they set the direction of minecraft for a long time
Yes, completely agree, kinda wish Mojang did sudden/seecret updates more often, but seems like it'd be difficult now. Even back in 2010, many people just checked the .jar to see what changed, lol
i almost completely forgot about them, but all the comments about cave noises i got on a previous video made me realize "dang those sounds were kinda freaky when you first start playing"
I really enjoyed this, it's high quality, entertaining and most importantly, it's not hyper active. Also, the topics of this series in general are interesting!
Honestly, any time I see a video about Herobrine, it makes me nostalgic for my childhood. I never played Minecraft back in those years, yet I remember hearing people talk about it at school. It's wild how deep it really affected the whole community.
07:57 That's Michael_1985! I used to watch him back in 2010/11, when he streamed on Justintv. I started playing the game because I watched those Minecraft streams live!
@@RandomSageless I don't play Minecraft much anymore, but I love watching these early history videos. They make me all nostalgic remembering all those good times. Thank you for making this video.
1:20 "... around million Swedish krona. In USD that's something like 5 or 10 bucks." Well, that sounds like a mishap in the commentary since it is almost 100000. (as on graphic)
I really liked the video, I hadn't thought about many of these things. I was not that early of a minecraft player, so some things were obscure to me. Also, could you please rejoin Stoneworks? There is a new world, called Abexilas, with much opportunities. I would really love it if you got back to Stoneworks!
crazy that im still getting comments about stoneworks haha. Glad you enjoyed the video, but unfortunately i have no immediate plans to make more Stoneworks videos. Might eventually do something but that's a massive might.
@@RandomSageless you could pump out some minecraft horror mods or conquer other geopols( stoneworks like nations servers), if you need some video ideas :D

I remember being so spooked by those cave sounds as a kid, heck they still surprise me

Thanks for watching, trying to find the right balance of being high energy but not hyperactive.

It really is quite nostalgic ha. I remember in 4th or 5th grade, talking with friends and sharing our 100% REAL & NOT FAKE herobrine stories.
