Hi Danny 👋 Well I must say I think I've learnt my lesson now 🫣😂 You need to come and visit Santa's grotto soon for a cuppa 😂 Thanks and have a great week ❤️
Its nice to be the only one at the plot sometimes Linda. It allows you to get on and do what you wanted. Love the xmas decs on the plot too. Great update
Awww thanks Tony 😊 Yes I really don't mind being the only one as like you said you can get and do things and film too 👍😂 It went really cold that day so I stopped filming,, put the heater on in the shed and put some tinsel and bits and bobs up while having a cuppa 😂 Have a great week ❤️
Hi Linda, lovely the Christmas hat and your decor too, lovely plot update, too. Oh, I love your christmas polytunnel, and your tree is gorgeous too ❤ have a wonderful Christmas 🎄 🧑🎄🤶🎄 thanks for sharing and take care 😊
Hi Christine 👋 Thank you so much for all your lovely comments. Weather is dreadful today and not been to the allotment for a few days so hoping the tinsel hasn't blown off the archway 😂 Id forgotton Id included the little Xmas polytunnel at home so was confused when you mentioned it 🧑🎄🫣😂 Merry Christmas to you too., thank you ❤️
Lovely Christmassy flair on the plot Linda - I would expect nothing less! Agree with the parsnips - it's all still good eating!! See you this evening Linda 💕💕
Hi Kerry 👋 The parsnips still tasted nice even though a tad quirky looking 😂 Thanks Kerry, looking forward to seeing you on Danny's Live later.🌲🧑🎄🥳🎉 Have a good day ❤️ xx
Love the Christmas decorations. Red is good. We have so much snow here in canada so no outdoor gardening for us til spring. We are both from cirnwall but have been here for many years. Live watching you all.❤
Hi Daisy I have a friend who lived in Canada for a few years. She loved it there. Sounds pretty cold in the winter though brrrr. I bet the scenery is amazing though 😍 I'm so pleased you like watching us and really appreciate you watching my videos, thank you 🤗❤️
@@Feelgoodgardens raining like crazy here in Toowoomba, Queensland so I’m watching my pumpkin etc getting powdery mildew but at least the garden is getting a good drink. You have a great week too Linda ♥️
Hello Mrs Claus 🧑🎄. I’m hoping I got all the crocosmia bulbs out of a bed I don’t want them taking over too. All looking very festive Linda and good to get harvests now 👍. Merry Christmas to everyone stay safe, Ali 🥶🧑🎄🎄🇨🇦
Hi Ali 👋 I love crocosmia but in the right place only 👍😂 Only little bits of harvests now but still good to be having your own isn't it. Have a fantastic Xmas 🎄🎁🎄🥳🎄🎉❤️ x
I made roasted carrots, parsnips and potatoes last Saturday.😋 Today while I watched you decorate the plot with some colour,👀I cooked some green beans with chopped onions and ham. Topped with: creme fraiche, grated cheese and nutmeg. Until next time 🍃🎀🌿I go back to my crochet🧶
@Feelgoodgardens you too, Linda. I went up last Monday to put the wreath up, I was going to prepped for shallots, but it was absolutely freezing, so I went home 😄
Very festive Linda. Very enjoyable. Shame the slugs got your cabbage. My overwintering cabbages and caulis have been butchered by them. :( I have those little garden tree deccies too. They are so pretty. All the best. Mags
Hi Mags 👋 I thought I'd manage to save some of that cabbage for dinner but there wasn't anything worth saving when I took the cabbage home, blinking slugs 😂 Good job I had plenty of other vedge 👍 I love our garden decorations too. Surprising what you can buy these days 👍😄 Have a great Xmas 🧑🎄🌲🥳🎉❤️ xxx
I think you should find an old bin (taller the better)!! And grow some parsnips and carrots in them !! Think I will go and wash mine then cut them up and par boil then freeze!! Those brassica can confuse the best of us 😂
I have an idea for next year's carrots and parsnips Alilie, watch this space 😂 What a blinking show off you are with your lovely home grown straight carrots 🥕 and enoght to put in freezer etc 🙄 😂 Don't you worry when I grow my lovely straight carrots and parsnips I'll be showing off big time! 😂😂😂 x
Nice and festive! Get Danny over there to try out new tools on pagoda 😂 Where is everyone? I’ve asked before, but has anyone tried PVC collars wrapped with copper tape to keep slugs off plants? They say it works. You guys could really put it to the test for sure 😂 Just amazes me how much warmer your climate is-we are frozen in upper Midwest. We had well below zero and flipped to 40F and dreary days mixed with rain/snow/ice. I didn’t catch some smaller cauliflower and will need to start earlier next year. It’s always such a mad rush to get summer plantings in and immediately follow with fall. Merry Christmas Linda 🎅☃️🎄❄️
I think that pergola certainly needs fixing or needs to come down next year 😂 Don't want Danny trying out his new saw on it though 🫣 Weather has been awful here rain and cold but Saturday when I filmed that video it was really nice. That's why I was surprised no-one was around. Only 2 people turned up but didn't stay very long. I guess everyone is busy with Xmas preparations. I've tried copper scourers opened out and put around legs of staging. It does work yes! I have some at home and my lupins are still intact! Mind you I should put them in the conservatory out of the cold because they're not looking their best and I don't want to lose them. They are more precious grown from seed aren't they. I didn't get around to sowing a lot of things so join the club 👍🤭😂 Have a great week ❤️
Looks like youve been busy Linda. I did tell you to direct sow the parsnips 😂 it's like thr north pole on your plot now 😂😂 See you soon. Danny 🎄
