In today's video, I will be showing you all how I achieved my go-to twist out! This was highly requested!

Thank you for the tutorial. My wife Dee is legally blind. During the pandemic salons are closed. My Sweetie wants to look pretty. So I watched and watched and watched again. A coupla trips to W and T and I got the products and a comb set. So now I know what to do. You'd be surprised what a guy will do with +that+ smile for a motivation. I did feel kinda funny being a white guy in the "black" hair section and I got a few looks, but Dee being happy and feeling pretty is what it's all about. That's right, I do my wife's twists. Cook greens too.

hi i don't know if anyone already told you yet, but reason why your camera goes out of focus is because its trying to focus on the words behind you on that frame. so it is best to make a video without words behind you, but keep the PRAY cube it does not disturb the camera because the words are big enough
I always do my hair the day after when it's stretch because I'm at that, "you thought" stage 🤣😭😭😂😂my hair play too much

I agree on having tiny twist outs because everytime i try big twist outs they unravel easily and tiny curls look better on my face. But It depends on the person i guess. subscribed by the way. Your the bomb.

Love this!!!! My hair is super dry too but Ive just tried this and Im about to take it out later today. The twists took me over 5 hours to do coz my shoulder was hurting lol so Im going to try and stretch out the hairstyle to 5-7 days, fingers crossed

Also, I like to braid the root a little bit, then start the twist out just so the style will be tighter at the root. Just a preference, but I like the result.

Your hair style is gorgeous. One suggestion, is to perhaps do two small opposite cornrows at top of hair end by one touching each ear. It may eliminate the hard top part and look even better. Love your hair journey and how you are willing to share God’s love so readily. Stay blessed!

Depending on what you listen to if you want good gospel/Christian rap artists there is Ty Brasel, WHATUPRG, Trip Lee, Ruslan KD and there are much more
For Gospel I recommend William McDowell, I personally think that the “As We Worship” album is his best. There is also Marvin Sapp, Fred Hammond, James Fortune, Tye Tribbet and much more. 😊 I hope I could’ve helped a little bit
@@makenziehall2699 I feel like those are the basic levels of Christian music, if you want to go deeper in your Christian music of any genre listen to Bethel , Upperroom , Elevation Worship , The Belonging Co , HungryGen (Worship & Praise or Contemporary Music ), Bizzle , Gawvi , Datin , Nobigdyl , and etc (Hip Hop & Rap) and TobyMac , Mosaic MSC , Jordan Feliz , and etc. (Pop)
I have way more artists in all genres then this especially contemporary worship , you'll go deep into the presence of God with those .

It is a Hip Hop mix , the ones I didn't mention , but its really good , some people that I know that aren't Christians loved it too , I was surprised even him . All glory goes to God . It gets dry cause it’s brown! Girl both my daughter and myself have your hair color with those reddish natural highlights. Though I love my hair color, it sucks up moisture like the Sahara dessert!

I don't know Rod...she may be onto something. I have a sandy color to my natural hair, and it's kinda dull. When I dye/rinse it black...it looks shinier and healthier.
Goodness Gracious Dull/low sheen hair and dry hair are two different things. Having a sandy hair color doesn’t mean that your hair actually lacks moisture, even if it looks that way.
Theresa Monet, thanks sis. I knooooow, cause I see plenty of sistahs with low sheen hair and know they use plenty of oils. Our hair is just mysterious like that. Mysteriously fabulous.

Hey Jay, I just did a twist out that lasted me about two weeks: one week with my hair down, the next week up in a high puff. Normally my twist outs only last about a good three days to one week. This past time I used Shea Moisture gel soufflé instead of eco style gel. Can you do a video where you use Shea Moisture gel soufflé? I would love to see how it turns out ❤️

Cute! Like you said in the video, I used to do twist outs but they were a lot bigger so they turned out wrong and I used to use tons of product. So I’ll definitely be trying this flat twist out method 💋

I have dry hair also i put a cream leave in conditioner under my twisting cream to avoid that. Also you could do fresh avocado mask with honey and olive oil before washing your hair leave it on for 1 hour to fix dry hair. It works

I’m on my second month update (3rd month on April 3rd) and I’m able to do the little cute swirls you’d do with the tooth comb and once I have enough time to actually sit down and achieve it, it’s over got everyone at church comes in finna slayyyyyyyyyy

Hi. I'm very new to the twist out. Your video and aftermath was fantastic! Thank you. I too have short hair and it is very dry. I am in transition to natural and my hair is a mess ugh. So trying to learn. I did a twist out last night but when i took it out this morning my curls was tight and I could not style it the way I hoped. Tonight I will try your method, the flat twist out and see what happens. Thank you again and can't wait for more of your videos. PS Your make up is on point. Try deep conditioning with a brand that uses coconut milk and various oils and put a plastic cap on and sit under a hooded dryer for 25 mins.... Did this and I was amazed really combats dryness adds extra shine....use it every week to see results especially in wash and go's
