Very helpful video for my current RACP reinforcement project. Since I have the subframe out of my 2004 SMG convertible, I’m replacing all bushings and ball joints. Going with solid subframe mounts, solid front diff mount, 95A AKG rear diff mounts, and spherical RTABs.
btw… you refer to the lower control arm “bushings”, but they are actually sealed ball joints on the M3.

Excellent video. Where did you buy the Benz ball joint remover? The KM822-M?

Also… did you ever solve your camber problem? I’m installing aftermarket adjustable LCAs, and getting rid of the eccentric bolt bullshit… so camber will be much easier to adjust.

After I finished alignment on it it was “ just “ in the green on rear camber BUT it was not in the middle of the Green. So no idea. I sent it out that way. Maybe upper control arm bushing were very worn also.

@@E39M5SPEED Sometimes the little ear on the hub where the lower control arm bushing gets installed gets a bit bent which throws off your alignment too much to compensate for. I've also noticed camber changes after a thousand miles or so once the busing works itself in. Once everything settles you need to reduce camber again by half a degree or so.
