Imagine if VR becomes an Esports mode, that would be insane.
That should be the goal, or at least force them to use the cockpit cam and not that TV shit from top 🤦🏽♂️

@@achimstur9128 no, simply no. F1 Esports aim to be the best in terms of driving pace, and cockpit does not allow that. Also, it's near to impossible to overtake/defend in cockpit
@@kevintaddo it's not that hard if you get used to it, I'm always driving in cockpit mode and have good clean battles also beating the 110% AI..... Of course I'm a bit quicker with the TV cam but I prefer the emersion and realism.
@@kevintaddo and if it's the same for everyone I don't see a problem, who cares if the pace is a bit slower. Takes more skill to defend and overtake, more drama is always good to watch haha.
The other things good in Jarno's VR: we mustn't see Jarno flicking backward and forward again

they definitely should try to make VR a requirement for F1 Esports! this would make it so real it'd be crazy
they should first make F1 Esports cockpit cam mandatory and 50% races at the minimum
I thought of a really good idea they should do Martin Brundle grid walk as a option at the start
i could see many drivers getting motion sick though. they'd complain.

You can often fix the issue of having to choose 1 eye by forcing steam to display a pop out display on the computer. This will show you a standard display that can be recorded. Great content as always!

When having the HUD off, a fantastic feature would be to have the engineer verbalise notices that would generally be on the HUD, such as safety cars, VSCs, warnings, over speeding during yellows, cars knocked out, and penalties (with reason).
I love to play games with limited HUD for immersion but F1 games haven't yet been designed for that play style yet.

F1 22 - I really hope they'd add a "practice arena" like you get in Fifa, where you can practice different things like the manual pit stops, manual formation laps, SC and VSC restarts, tyre warm-up during SC restarts etc at all tracks!
This way you wouldn't have to try and trigger a SC in Grand Prix mode, or use flashbacks to practice the new manual elements of the new game.

F1 2022 will not support VR on consoles from what we know. Of course the console itself supports VR lol
Psvr 2 is coming out I think next year for ps5
I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t take a lot to implement this on the PS5 version when the PSVR2 is released, they would be crazy not to and surely Sony would insist on it to help sell the headset.

Nice to finally see F1 represented in VR officially. The 2004 Ferrari is one of the craziest cars to drive in VR in Assetto Corsa. I'm hoping this game has a wide list of classic F1 cars to drive in VR.

They should defo try to include the mfd and safety car/vsc information on the steering wheel to make it more realistic and easier to read (mainly the mfd). I suppose that the racing engineers will tell the drivers about eventual penalties, but we don't really have that function so that could be included on the wheel too imo

You can merge two eyes into one, but you'd need to shift the colors and people watching would have to wear those colored 3D glasses
