Hi, Ashley! While I'm glad you're excited to make this recipe, I would caution you to wait until your finished with your antibiotics and your SIBO is cleared, because during this process when your killing off all the bacteria, you actually need to be really careful with your diet so that you don't trigger a fungal overgrowth. Everyone has bacteria, yeasts and other microbes in the gut. If you take an antibiotic that kills the bacteria, this gives the yeast/fungus the opportunity to over grow and take the bacteria's place, especially if you are eating sweets and processed carbohydrates which breakdown into sugar, because yeast eats sugar. My doc did not warn me about this, I had to learn it the hard way, so please, learn from my mistake. That's why I created this channel - to help people. :)
@@gritandgroceries I did go on a round of rifaximin in October but I stopped taking them because I felt that it was making my symptoms worse so I’ve just been doing lowfodmap
I have! I really enjoyed the Chicken Soup Base when I was first starting out on my journey, but I don’t use it too much anymore. I decided that I want to teach people skills instead of selling them products. Plus, it kinda goes against my fundamental belief that meal production cannot be outsourced beyond the household. Even tho Fody is low FODMAP, it’s still processed and I REALLY try not to eat processed food. The thought of how it’s made in a factory really grosses me out, and it’s better for my health. The spice blends are cool, but I prefer to have the individual components so that I can make infinite combinations. Thanks for the comment and I wish you the best of luck on your digestive journey!
You could try allulose. It doesn't exactly creates the same kind of crystallization that sugar creates, but it does caramelize and does add the humidity sugar provides. You might need to go higher on the amount to make it as sweet.
I don’t.😔 I would love to publish one someday. I do have a website, that’ll have to do for now. Hopefully, once my channel grows and I can make enough money through ad revenue and my coaching services to quit my day job, a cookbook will be first order of business. Maybe a publisher will see this comment and offer me an advance to make that happen - you never know… the internet is a wild place! Thank you so much for showing interest, I really appreciate it. Helps me to keep going.❤️
@@gritandgroceries I just recently started looking into low FODMAPs because of some digestive issues and feel like I'm finally getting answers. I'm a designer myself and worked with print in the past, so I'd be happy to help if you ever get to create a book or website help - there needs to be better access to meals like this for people.
Thank you so much! I’ll def keep you in mind should the occasion arise. I’m so glad you finally getting to info you need. I felt that same way about this diet since it helped me so much, which is why I created the channel.

Got it. Yeah, that’ll happen when you wipe out the microbiome with antibiotics.🥴 I’m so glad the low FODMAP diet has been able to help you!!
Have you tried any Fody products

Can you show breads without sugar or a healthier option

I do have a regular sandwich bread video. Hope you like it!
Do you have a recipe book?
