Hello Stocjon, please give me more details. Do I understand you correctly? You have a drawing with one or more views? This view shows an assembly or component? Describe your problem in as much detail as possible and name your NX version. If your question is a typical problem, I could make a video about it.
@@learnNX Hi, the drawing has more than one view but in the end it does not matter in the question(I think). The view can show a component or an assembly it does not matter either( I think) I think that my better explaining would be lets say that we create a master model file called Model1 and after that I create another one called Model2 after finishing them I will create a drawing (drafting) the drafting will show complete details of Model1 and this same drafiting will show details of Model2, so in the part navigator, NX will represent Model1 as a yellow cube and Model2 as a white drawing frame and the questions goes here. how to replace the second one ?(white drawing frame). I think now you can get better the idea if no let me know. In the past I remember I used replace component for that if I am not wrong. I am using NX2306 and it does not work anymore. Thanks again.
@@Stocjon1985 Hi, Stocjon, of course you can replace your part in a drawing. The steps in detail: create a part (model1) and create with new, drawing, a new drawing (model1_dwg) with the Relationship "Reference Existing Part". Save both, and create a second part (model2). Go back to your drawing and open the assembly navigator. Select the first part (model1) under your drawing and choose "Replace Component". Now select the part model2 as the Replacement Part. Update the views. I've tested it and it works.
@@learnNX Hi I think I was not clear enough. I sent you an 3-m4il. Please check it there. It is the third time I am writing it and YT is deleting my answer. Thanks in advance.
Perfect! Excellent!
O melhor curso de Siemens NX da internet, parabéns. Para ser melhor, poderia ser traduzido para o Portugues do Brasil.
Olá Marco, muitos vídeos já têm legendas em português. Em breve todos os vídeos terão legendas em português.
Thank you very much
Excellent video as always. I very much appreciate your efforts in creating this content on NX. It has helped me immensely. Thank you!
Thanks for your videos
Very very useful.
Do you have any video where you explain how to replace a component in a view in the drawing but this component is from another part?
