This album & AOJB are the real KE. Howard was an awesome fill in. Jesse is Killswitch. Howard is doing his thing and he sounds better. KE is Jesse's band. Howard was always trying to keep that feel. Everyone is where they belong. Think Devil you know's best days are ahead. They might have a little KE feel but they are thier own band. Consume the damned is a fucking sick track . They need to go that direction. Heavy as fuck & just original. Howard is a unique creative guy. He can expand his talent more. While KE are the band that made me punched my windshield back in 04 . It's a win win..

This band is fucking incredible. Been a fan ever since Alive or Just Breathing, in love with the KSE sound with both Howard and Jesse as the lead. Recently I saw this band live and lost my mind so hard I went from singing along to the clean vocals to screaming right along with them. I didn't event know I could scream. guess they just got so much adrenaline pumping through me that I couldn't help it!This band is so empowering and encouraging and I can't get enough. This album is a masterpiece and I can't stop listening to it!

Every song is different and beautiful in its own way, this album is everything metalcore should be, Killswitch Engage is living up to that name, Engaging the Killswitch on every song.

Yeah the heaviness & songwriting greatly improved. Being a musician that played in some heavy bands. I would be so proud of this entire album. It is hard to put out over an hr & a half of quality music.
Every single song has been awesome so far. I think I would've preferred to hear the album as a whole, not each song separately before the album's released, kinda kills the surprise and thrill of listening to the album on the day it comes out (unless there's a godly track on there that won't be released until the album's out). Still pretty awesome though.

And Triumph through Tragedy is sick too, it sounds like killswitch if they went death metal LOL Of course Loyalty is great too but that songs been around for a long time
Hugo Stiglitz I can't believe that Triumph Through Tragedy and Loyalty aren't on the standard album: they're two of the best songs on there. Still think Embrace the Journey is my favourite, but Triumph is a close second. That was an awesome surprise, I'm glad they kept that one under wraps.
leerobbo92 Well Loyalty was on a Game of Thrones soundtrack or something so I think that's why they didn't want to put it as part of the main album This is why I always get KsE's special edition albums. They always have great songs on them. Even their worst album, self titled 2009 had great bonus tracks. lol the bonus track was better than most of the songs that were on that album LOL

This album is shaping up to be one of my favorites of the year. It would be even more amazing if All Shall Perish releases new music, but this album alone from my favorite band makes this year a memorable one already.
This& the great deceit are 2 of my favorite songs on this great album. Lyrically you have to give it to Jess. His lyrics go deeper than Howard. I like Howard I just thought he never stops singing about relationships. There's enough of that in this world. I find Jesse's lyrics intelligent & inspirational on this album. Plus this album would be good top to bottom live.

New Jesse was a great refresher they needed, I loved Howard but with Jesse becoming a better vocalist over time, he's really killin' it!
