You failed to mention that the canon g7x M3 doesnt have good autofocus. The M2 has a better focusing than the M3. Despite the firmware update, its not good... you will still see some moments wherein its really struggling to focus. For people who want to make sure your photos and videos come out sharp, get the Sony RX100 series... the focusing is so much better than the Canon. You cant even compare the two...

hey river, so right now I’m using a T7 with a 50mm f/1.8 STM along with the kit lens and I’m looking to upgrade to either the Canon M50 or T8i. Should I get the M50 + adapter or the T8i? I was also looking into the 90D, but I think it’s outside my budget. Just doing enthusiast-level photography and video. I heard 4k is best on Sony cameras but considering I’ve invested into the Canon ecosystem, do you think 4k is completely unusable on the T8i/M50? If I use like a 18mm lens, would that offset the 1.6x crop enough? Or would I get better 4k from my iPhone 11 (which can do 4k60)? thanks, and keep up the great work, loving your vids!
I don't want to come off as mister knowitall but must say that the autofocus in the Canon G7X Mark II absolutely blows. I've used it for a couple years and it's been a constant battle to get clear shots. Viewers frequently complain because it has a talent for being just 10% out of focus, so that I don't catch it in the viewfinder while filming.
I have the ZV1. Its great except for the lens and stabilization. its just not wide enough and video is too shaky when walking and recording. I wish I bought the Canon GX7.

I'm looking to get a vlogging camera for my trip around Australia I love this video but really struggling to pick what is best for me I will be filming mostly outdoors but would love something I can continue to vlog with at home I am only a beginner but as it will be such a big trip I am happy to spend whatever to best record these memories. What is your recommendation I/m looking at Cannon G7 Mark III or SV 1 Sony open to any recommendations though
I’m about to start a RUclips of my service dog from getting everything before bringing her home to training, traveling, and her life as a service dog. What would you recommend?
Great video! So I need to get my first real camera for vlogging, streaming and more. Wanted to get the EV-10 but obviously there’s the supply problem. My question is do I get the ZV-1 now, buy the EV-10 on eBay (they are going for $1200+) or go even better with like an A7C? Haha I know I’m all over the place!! Thank you for any advice!
Is the G7X mark iii better than using the Samsung s21? I get some great videos with the s21, but I also get in some videos distortion because of the wide angle lens. I need something light, so it's easy to have with me all the time. I have a M43x camera but it's a bit bulky to carry around for vlogging. I guess what I am asking are the specs on the G7X better than the S21? Or are they the same and I just need to spend more time with the settings on my s21? Thanks in advance for anyone who can point me in the right direction.

Generally i find cinea 2- 4 with a bit of saturation does the trick. But I think canon cameras are your best choice for good in camera colors. The sonys generally need a bit fo work or never look at vibrant as a canon.
