One thing I dislike about SWAC schools field shows is that they never play towards the crowd during the drill. It sounds muffled and takes away from the show.
Yall do realize that MVSU is the youngest school in the SWAC and the program has just come back so stop the negative comments. They could have been your children out there. Give them time to grow the program
Decent shows. I think Alcorn tubas could play some of their notes a little shorter. They came close to get off tempo a couple of times. Overall, they could use more energy. I don't know if the tempo needed to be up a little or what. Golden Girls give me old J-sette routine vibes. All decent shows. It would be great if more bands sounded in the stands the way they do on the field. From what I can tell watching the clips, the BOOM and the Ocean did on several songs. I definitely agree on the side shots. I had seeing games on TV filmed by other groups that are 80% close-ups
I enjoy stand battles just as much as field shows. Bands essentially get dinged for not having flags. I don't enjoy seeing flag personnel act like dancers with body rolls and pelvic movement. Just twirl the flags please. A stand battle displays "pen game" on the different arrangements and how well the students play + the band's ability to move the audience.
Texas Southern is looking and sounding AMAZING this year
Mvsu is getting better and better. Sound great. Thanks Doc Webb. Retired from scs and went back to valley
Great show Ocean 🌊

Awesome Boom as always
A MAZE TRIBUTE. RIP FRANKIE BEVERLY.
The Delta is the part of MS that MVSU is in. It's about halfway between Jackson and Memphis. There are a few towns considered to be in the MS Delta
Name a better entrance 😂

Keep it up Brother All The Bands

I cant even see the scores with my glasses on

Were there some years in which MVSU did not have a band?
I agree
Halftime should be rated at 60%
Stands should be 40%

MVSU did a whole drill to just make diamonds 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
MVSU played an Alcorn song that's why they turned that way. The dancers and the band need alot of help with uniformity and cleanliness
That’s it no energy
ASU drill was kinda boring
Drill as in the GOLDEN GIRLS?
