      @@samueljgarcia9121 oh I love it. If you're trying to sound like a race car, this probably isn't the one for you. The only way I can describe it is a more sophisticated kind of sporty, it's great

      @@maroonglass5943just installed mine yesterday on my otherwise stock PRHT. It's actually quieter inside the cabin with the top up than stock. Top down with your foot deep into the go pedal though, sounds awesome. Truly the best of both worlds. Fun fun fun. Easy install too.

    have you gotten any more videos from customers? this sounds like what I want but it's a bit of a compromise being a single exit- i would prefer dual like the RS2. maybe a few more videos or testimonials will put me over the edge to order one!

    If you are ok with louder sound generally & NOT doing any further exhaust mods - is this acceptable (or death?) with top up on NC 2014 PRHT? THANKS Brian!!

      Yes, I would not do standard Race muffler myself on PRHT, but I would the Race Helmholtz (particularly after it mellows a lot with break-in miles).

    Hi.
    Honestly, can you tell me which one is better, 124 or Miata?
    I'm worried about choosing between the
    two.
    Thanks.

      Far too big a topic to cover here, the debates rage in the forums for page after page, suggest you see the forum threads at Miata.net and in the Fiat 124 forums too.

    @ Goodwin - Make a high flow cat with hemholtz resonater built in as a bolt on for NA/NB cars. Single piece design.

    • @andigoodwin1067
      @andigoodwin1067 4 года назад

      We looked at it, but NC is unique in having fat tunnel space for helmholtz chamber in midpipe of sufficient size to get the effectiveness we sought. We have now done NA/NB Helmholtz setups but the only place to locate sufficient size Helmholtz chamber with NA/NB is in the rear muffler canister. www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda-Performance-Part/11-1004H.html

    Love that sound!! Planning to run Goodwin header catless, do you think is a good match? Thanks!

      For catless header we still suggest our Helmholtz midpipe and SuperQ.

      Three Race ND Helmholtz designs, even one with twin tips that adds a lot more adjustment choices for the final sound. www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda-Performance-Part/61-1934.html

    How would you compare to SuperQ?

    • @GWRTeam
      @GWRTeam 4 года назад

      Opposite end of the spectrum on sound levels. SuperQ we designed for catless header customers or those wanting the most mild choice on otherwise stock car. Our original RoadsterSport Race was designed for those competing in stock/street class SCCA events with strict sound limits and wanting absolute minimal weight to get under the sound limits. The Helmholtz chamber added to the classic RoadsterSport Race design does civilize it a great deal, but does not get sound level down to level of SuperQ. Thus, we still suggest customers going catless header go to SuperQ and Helmholtz midpipe for best control of sound level and prevention of drone. The Race and Race Helmholtz both intended for those staying with stock header.
